TW: Blood, stab wounds and lan wangji crying flawlessly (mayday mayday mayday!)
"Jin ling" wei ying called him out gently when he saw the tears on the corner of his face. His nephew looked enraged when he heard his name being called out, almost like he hated the thought of even listening to him.
"Did you do it?" He asked unsheathing his spiritual tool after noticing that lan wangji was behind them fighting off several disciples at the same time.
"What?" Jin Ling scoffed at the man's reply and walked closer to him.
"Did you kill my aunt and grandparents?" Jin ling asked wei wuxian almost as if he had known everything from before. Wei Ying's eyebrows locked together in confusion, he clenched his hand around suibian and walked towards jin ling believing that he wasn't a threat to him.
"Jin ling, I will tell you about this in the future" Wei Ying reciprocated understanding the problem his nephew was going through, just when he was about to walk away from him.
"You killed them" Jin ling spat thrusting his sword forwards in rage.
"A'ling don't!" Jiang yanli screamed from upstairs when she realised what her son was about to do to her brother.
Wei Ying froze on his spot when he felt a searing pain rising in his stomach. The blade that has torn his flesh apart twisted in his guts drawing more blood as it went deeper.
Lan wangji snapped his head towards wei ying's direction and stood berserk on his spot, eyed wide open when Jin Rúlán lodged the sharp blade deeper into wei ying's stomach.
"You killed them!" Jin ling spat stabbing him one more time, this time in his side. Lan wangji wasted no more time and unsheathed bichen to retract the blade with which Jin ling had stabbed his husband. The Jin sect heir retracted his blade swiftly and backed away when lan wangji attacked him.
"Wei Ying" Lan Zhan whispered in horror when blood seeped out of wei ying's mouth, more blood gushed out of his guts from the deep stab wounds his nephew had made making him slightly cry out in pain.
Wei Ying stumbled behind in pain and fell into lan zhan's arms. "It's fine. I can hold up for a while" wei ying said in a meek tone, he sounded dull almost as if he was feeling one of the most excruciating forms of pain.
"What if I promised you that there will be nothing to lose anymore" lan zhan whispered to wei ying who was sound asleep in his arms.
"Lies" wei ying whispered in his sleep.
"Wei Ying" Lan zhan called him out and tried to pull him with him so that they can get away from this place. But, wei ying didn't move a bit from his spot, with his hands protectively rested on his wounds he looked at Jin ling.
"When I thought that you were different from your mother, I should have known that after all you were her son"
" A cold-blooded killer.." wei ying whispered through his pain.
Wei Ying chuckled bitterly through his pain and looked at Jin Ling who dropped his sword both in shock and regret. He looked at Jiang yanli who stood afar watching her son in horror.
"Let me tell you o-one thing dear nephew. Now that I know your true colours I regret sparing your mothers life that day"
Wei Ying whispered in malice spitting out more blood. Lan Zhan helped his soulmate stand straight and tried to pull him away but, his soulmate did not want to move from his stance at all.
"Your grandmother wanted me dead whilst your grandfather lusted after me. Y-you will surprised to learn more about them wouldn't you?" Wei Ying spat in between his heavy breaths, getting stabbed had never hurt wei ying so much before.
