The next morning wasn't as awkward as wei Ying thought it would be. Lan zhan wasn't present in the cloud recesses today he had gone to nightless city where wen qing and wen ning were stuck needing some help.

Wei ying, sighed for the nth time today walking around the cloud recesses feeling bored "atleast cheng cheng is coming tomorrow." Wei ying whispered under his breath, getting rid of the hair covering his pale white cheeks.

He also heard that his shijie was going to visit today, which he didn't believe because she was busy in lanling jin with her peacock of a husband.

He was shocked when he saw his shijie with his grandmother. Both of them were talking with eachother happily, laughing from time to time. Wei ying got excited when he saw her and ran towards her. "Shijie!" Yanli smiled at him pulling him into a tight hug. Baoshan sanren just smiled at the siblings feeling happy for her A'ying.

"A'xian why are you so emotional today." Yanli ran her hands through wei ying's soft locks. He just sniffled hugging her tighter. "Shijie came to visit me after a long time." Yanli just smiled sitting down with him.

Baoshan sanren let them be and left them alone to bond with eachother. "It's only been a month A'xian and jin ling is mischievous." Wei ying laughed thinking about jin zixuan suffering with his crying son.

"I feel bad for zixuan." Yanli just nodded laughing along with him. They had kept on talking about things for hours. Yanli had realised that she had forgotten the main reason she was here.

"A'xian I can't see wen qing and wen ning. Where are they?" Yanli asked wei Ying who was eating a loquat. He looked at her giving her a toothy smile " ah..thay are in nightless city. The wen remanents are rebuilding their clan." Wei ying clapped his hands excitedly looking at his shijie who just frowned.

"What happened shijie? Did you want to meet them. Well you're in luck today they are returning today." Wei ying looked at his shijie she just shook her head "no. It's fine A'xian I have to leave in a few hours anyways." Wei ying frowned when he heard that. He couldn't stop her from leaving. His shijie belonged to another sect now; she had her own child and a dumb husband.

"Don't be sad A'xian shijie will come visit you often now." She touched his cheeks softly. " Fine." Wei ying said smiling back.

Wei ying had taken yanli to the forest to show her the bunnies wei Ying had. "Look shijie they are multiplying so fast!" Wei ying pointed at the tiny fluff balls. Yanli took one of them in her hands and started petting it.

"A'xian when are you planning to get married?" Yanli asked out of nowhere looking at wei ying who was busy playing with the black and the white bunny. He looked at her feeling himself turn red he coughed awkwardly "I'm still seventeen so probably when I turn nineteen or twenty." Yanli nodded smiling at him.

After eating lunch together. Yanli thought that it would be the perfect time for her to leave. "I should take my leave now A'xian." Wei ying could do nothing but nod.

She went inside the boat waving at her brother. Wei ying smiled brightly at her waving back. "Come back soon shijie!" Yanli just nodded smiling at him waving back. Wei ying's heart swelled when he saw the moon charm in her hands.

He walked back inside when he saw that the boat was gone. "Now let's go find lan Zhan." Wei ying whispered under his breath. They should have been back by now.

He looked around in all the halls not even sparing lan qirens chambers but they were nowhere to be seen. "Who are you trying to find wei Ying." A sudden deep voice rang behind him. Wei ying flinched turning around to see who it was; getting ready to give the person a piece of his mind.
