A week had passed since wei ying's grand birthday celebration. The town was going crazy over how their young master's birthday was grand. They had already started imagining how their wedding would be like.

People imagined how grand their first born child's christening ceremony would be like.

Meanwhile in the cloud recesses

"Lan Zhan I'm fine just look at me. I look fine I can even walk and run around properly. Why can't I go outside." Wei ying whined clutching onto lan zhan's robes giving him his irrepressible puppy dog eyes.

Lan zhan had looked away from him continuing to walk towards jingshi. "Lan Zhan please!" Wei ying pleaded clinging onto him like a baby monkey.

Lan zhan had looked at his soulmate feeling his eyes twitch. Wei ying had been continuously pestering him to allow him to go to the town. Which lan Zhan had clearly rejected; and now here they were standing in the garden with wei ying holding onto his arms tightly.

"Wei ying, let go." Lan Zhan said trying to walk but wei ying didn't budge at all; he held onto lan zhan's hands even harder. "No, lan Zhan please please let me go." Wei ying said adjusting his hands.

Lan zhan just gave wei ying a cold glare before picking the man in his arms easily. "Lan Zhan put me down!" Wei ying said glaring at lam zhan who didn't look down at him at all.

"You're not leaving cloud recesses again." Lan zhan said maintaining his calm demeanor. " Lan Zhan, please it won't happen again." Wei ying said wriggling around. " Wei ying." Lan Zhan said glaring at his soulmate.

Wei ying stilled in his arms and stopped talking when lan Zhan glared at him. "Sorry." Wei ying whispered. "Mn. Now what will you not do." Lan Zhan asked wei ying.

"Go to the town without anyone accompanying me." Wei ying said looking at lan Zhan pouting. " And?" Lan zhan asked him " if people start crowding me in the town I will call lan Zhan and not entertain them." Wei ying whispered. " Keep going" lan Zhan said smacking wei ying's clothed ass.

Wei ying flinched when lan Zhan spanked him. "Aah~ lan Zhan that hurt. Is that how you treat your soulmate?" Wei ying asked lan Zhan who was still giving him that cold glare.

"Continue.." lan zhan said starting to walk. " Aah fine fine. If somebody tries to stab me I do not insult them to their face, instead I fight them and call for lan Zhan." Wei ying said looking into lan zhan's eyes.

"But lan Zhan it isn't my mistake that the attacker looked like a goose I mean did you look at hi-" wei Ying started rambling just to be cut off by lan Zhan putting him down and pulling him for a hug.

Wei ying was shocked when lan Zhan pulled him into a tight hug, he felt bad for making lan Zhan scared. "Wei ying! You almost got stabbed again." Lan Zhan said pressing his head against wei ying's neck.

"Lan Zhan come on I can protect myself I'm strong." Wei ying said ruffling lan zhan's hair softly.

"Mn." Lan Zhan said pulling away from the hug; he took wei ying's wrists in his hands carefully and checked it for any marks. "Tsk.. lan Zhan I'm fine." Wei ying said kissing lan zhan's cheek.

" Mn." Lan zhan said continuing to walk with wei ying trailing behind him like a lost puppy. "Lan Zhan how about we go visit our rabbits?" Wei ying asked. " No" lan Zhan said.

" Go to sleep. The conference is tomorrow." Lan Zhan said going towards jingshi. " Mmph! Lan zhan its four in the afternoon!" Wei ying exclaimed. "Fine." Lan Zhan said turning around taking wei Ying with him.

"Where are we going lan Zhan?" Wei ying asked him pulling his sleeve. Lan Zhan didn't mind it at all; wei Ying had a new found habit which was pulling lan zhan's robes. It actually made his soulmate even more adorable.
