Lan Zhan had taken wei ying for the night hunting that day. While the group was following them smiling at the love birds. Wei ying could only pout he didn't want to walk so much.

"Aiya enough of the romance you can continue it later. We have a water ghoul to catch love birds" wei ying said looking around.

Jiang cheng had turned red "brat" he whispered under his breath enough for wen qing to hear. Suddenly wei ying had noticed a pressure under lan zhan's boat. "Lan Zhan " wei ying called him "mn" he replied not looking away " jump" wei ying said.

" Why?" Before he could finish his sentence his boat was engulfed by a black monster and lan Zhan did he jumped he landed on wei ying's boat. People who witnessed this were shocked. While xichen was impressed "young master wei how did you do it" he asked.

"No time, look under your boats" wei ying said they were on high alert nie huaisang had clinged onto wen ning for his dear life. Xichen had taken his sword and levitated in the air while jiang cheng and huaisang did the same thing helping their partners.

"Lan Zhan leave!" Wei ying said grabbing chenqing. "Wei ying!" Lan Zhan called him out. "Leave! I will come back!" Wei ying screamed out. "No I won't" lan Zhan said he would protect his wei ying. "I will come back lan Zhan I promise I don't break promises" wei ying said taking chenqing in his hands.

Lan Zhan was pulled upwards by lan xichen he hadn't protested he knew that his wei ying would return. Wei ying had started playing chenqing he pressed the flute close to his lips he closed his eyes and started playing it deeply concentrating.

Resentful energy had surrounded wei ying he levitated in the air just like his soulmate and his brother but without his sword. The water ghouls had surrounded him all the ways. Soon dark forces were summoned in the atmosphere.

The person watching this from afar was getting frustrated of this he wanted wei ying dead. He wanted the stygian tiger amulet.

Lan zhan was concerned about wei ying he still hadn't learnt how to control his powers. Jiang cheng was ready to jump in but he had no powers to survive a thing like that.
