"what is there to be congratulated about being poisoned?" Jin Rúlán asked rolling his eyes from annoyance, his gaze was now directed towards lan Jingyi who was held by none other then lan Sīzhuī who had a nervous smile on his face.

"Make sure that whoever has been poisoned does not stand for long, or else I won't be surprised if you drop dead." Wei Ying said looking at lan Jingyi who automatically fell into the arms of the lan sect disciples who picked him up with the help of eachother and started walking.

"I wonder who you got that from" wei ying whispered under his breath and watched his son being hoisted up by the lan sect disciples as he put his hands around a'yuan who nodded agreeing with him after looking at him to check if he was being serious or not.

"We need to find a house and see if they have a cooking area." Wei Ying spoke starting to walk with his son and the disciples carrying the poisoned juniors.  The juniors knocked on the doors of the houses to Inquire if anybody was there or not, whilst another group of disciples were sent out to get food stock from any stores they find.

"Hey look someone's there!" Lan Jingyi pointed out when he saw a shadow through the door, wei ying took it as his chance and knocked on the door continuously up till the point where she opened up.

Wei Ying looked at the woman with a slightly taken aback expression when he noticed how pale and scary she looked almost as if she had already perished. "Please lady listen to us before you close the door" wei ying interupted and put his legs in between the doors hinges.

"we are lost because of the thick fog in this town, can you please let us stay here for a while, we will even pay you" wei ying said offering her a tempting offer, the lady blinked for a good minute before she moved away from the door letting them in.

"I'm not paying for this, uncle and father took my qiankun pouch away, fend for yourself" The rich young mistress from Lanling spouted rolling his eyes.

"You don't need to worry, young mistress Jin, I happen to have a lot of money today" wei ying grinned putting his hands inside of his robe sleeves to get the qiankun pouch out.

"But, papa I know that you have been tragically poor before, how did you get money?" Lan Sīzhuī asked with furrowed brows asking the most controversial question to him ever. Wei Ying slightly coughed and looked at his son with a sickening smile before he showed him the qiankun pouch.

"Who said the money belonged to me? What belongs to hanguang jun belongs to me too" wei ying grinned showing him the money as he walked inside the house.

"But! That belongs to father!" Jingyi exclaimed as if he was the most righteous lan of gusu lan.

"Boy, does my son have a death wish today" wei ying teased walking inside just to be met with a stench and absolute darkness, the woman had just asked them to light up the lights kept on the table and said that the kitchen was at the back before she walked inside nonchalantly.

"Why does she sell so many burial items?" Jin ling asked walking inside the dimly lit room which his uncle seemed to like a lot. "who cares,now o need a bunch of juniors who were not poisoned to help me" wei ying spoke walking inside the kitchen followed by Sīzhuī.

"I will help" a'yuan volunteered and walked inside the equally dirty kitchen. " What about you mistress Jin?" Wei Ying asked pissing his nephew just a little more than before.
"who are you calling that!?" He screeched walking inside to help him.

"Calm down" lan Sīzhuī spoke stopping his father and his cousin from having a duel then and there letting the juniors outsiders fend for themselves. Wei Ying scoffed and looked for the material he needed and set fire atop the wood which was kept for use, "is that sticky rice?" Sīzhuī asked taking a note of what his papa was putting inside the congee looking thing inside which he poured the whole spice palatte into mixing the hot red water wei ying let out a satisfied hum and put the sticky rice inside.
