After the night hunting festival was over , a banquet was organised by jin guangshan apparently he had wanted to make another proposal he had wanted every single clan present especially the jiang and lan clan.

Wei ying had woken after a few hours when he woke up he saw that lan Zhan wasn't there with him. To his surprise he just saw a note in the wooden table. 'banquet in the jin clan hall get ready and come early' it read he knew that it was by jiang cheng.

He got up and sighed stretching his limbs "why do they need a dumb banquet for everything" wei ying said to himself. He got out of the room and started walking towards the banquet where he was welcomed when he entered the hall he saw that all the clan leaders were already present there. Something was wrong.

He saw lan Zhan and lan xichen with eachother. He saw jiang cheng seated in the center of the row he went up to his brother and sat down behind him a mahogany table in front of him with alcohol and food on it.

Suddenly jin guangshan spoke up who was sitting in the throne "young master wei since you have won today is there anything special you'd like us to do". Wei ying was startled when he heard his name being called but he replied anyways "yes jin clan leader I have a wish". Wei ying said with a smile. " What is it?". He asked. " I want the remaining members of the wen clan" he said and everybody's eyes had widened. They had started talking among themselves. "Are yoi crazy wei Wuxian those wen dogs deserve to die" jin zixun said. " Does it look like I care. If I want them I get them." Wei ying said emotionless.

Some of the clans knew that the remaining wen clan members were innocent. They were supporting wei ying asking them to surrender the remaining members. "And where will you take them wei Wuxian!". Jin zixun had asked. This time jiang cheng spoke up "they will come with us to lotus pier we lack people in certain occupations anyways". Wei ying smiled at his brother his brother had just given him a calm look..

"Young master wei is correct they do not need to be punished for an offence they have not committed." Zewu Jun spoke this time. Most of them had started agreeing with his points and were willing to take the remaining wen clan members with them too.

Wei ying had given a genuine smile after a very long time. It warmed up lan zhan's heart seeing wei ying smile after a long time. He did smile always but they weren't real, but this time it was real.

"Very well, you will get the remaining members , wei Wuxian". Jin guangshan said. Wei ying just nodded his head. Everybody else had started clapping for wei Wuxian.

When the commotion had stopped and everybody were settled. Jin guangshan spoke up "master wei as we have given you what you had wished for we have a wish to be fulfilled by you". He said lan Zhan had tensed in his place what are they going to ask for?.

Jiang cheng spoke up this time "I will be speaking here on behalf of wei Wuxian here clan leader you can request for your wish now" jiang Cheng had gotten angry when he had talked to his brother in a sultry way. Some of the  clan leaders even felt uncomfortable.

"Very well, I want an answer from wei Wuxian," Jiang cheng had gotten up so did wangji and unsheathed their swords. How dare he talk like that to his soulmate. "Calm down hanguang jun its not what you think it is ". Jin guangshan said Zewu Jun had talked to wangji asking him to calm down.

"Jiang  cheng , lan Zhan let jin clan leader ask his question" they sighed and sat down. " Young master wei can you tell us what happened with you in the burial mounds". Everybody had tensed when he had asked that question. "Didn't I already tell you what happened.?" Wei ying asked Slightly angry this time. " No you haven't young master wei" jin guangshan said.

Wei ying knew he had to tell him otherwise he would never let those wen clan members go." I died". He just bluntly replied. People were not understanding what happened.
