"Did you see the look on the man's face!Hahaha~!" Wei Ying laughed out loud remembering the look on the inn workers face when lan Zhan had finally said that he was indeed talking with the yiling patriarch and his husband the light bearing lord in all their glory.

"Mn" lan zhan hummed walking straight so that his husband does not fall down because his clumsy self could fall atleast a hundred times a day. "I'm hungry let's go back to our tavern room" wei ying spoke jumping on lan zhan's back happily.

When they had entered their tavern they were met with an eerie silence, not the type of sound you would find during the rush hours of the city. "Why is it so silent?" Wei Ying murmured opening the door to their room to be met with an unknown man with a hood covered over his head.

"He's taking the amulet!" Wei Ying excalimed grabbing his talismans alerting lan Zhan that the unknown man had taken their amulet. Lan Zhan drew bichen and threw it the man stabbing his legs at attempt to immobilise him just to realise that the man could still stand.

He grabbed bichen back once again and sparred with the man who seemed to be familiar with his fighting techniques for some reason since he dodged every single attacks lan Zhan sent towards his direction.

"He's getting away!" Wei Ying yelped throwing a talisman on the man when he found out his weak point and bound the man's hands together tightly with the unseeable thread a talisman he had created to irritate Lan Zhan years ago.

The man stilled in his place when bichen was pointed at him along with the talisman holding him together. "What a petty trick!" The man excalimed just to pathetically Yelp when wei ying's trick nudged his legs like child.

"Crap!" The man screamed and threw the pouch away in horror towards wei ying.

"Thanks for the delivery" Wei Ying chirped showing him a very happy look as he put the pouch inside his robes.

The unknown man threw a talisman at wei ying creating a green mist amongst them he disappeared into thin air. "Let him go lan zhan! You won't be able to find him" wei ying heaved stopping lan Zhan from running away with bichen in his hands.

"Let's go back to some other inn, this isn't safe anymore" lan zhan nodded and walked outside with wei ying. After finding a new inn the couple walked inside to eat dinner before they went to sleep.

"Hanguang jun did you somehow make me forget my memories? How come i don't remember burning the chang sect people?" Wei Ying joked with a serious look on his face, lan zhan sighed and passed his husband the spicy food before he shook his head.

"You did not, your amulet has been forged" lan zhan replied feeding him a piece of meat from his bowl. Wei Ying nodded and started chewing on his share of the meat happily without realising that he was eating lan zhan's share too, but his husband was tempted to give his husband everything in his share.

"Would the second young master lan like to sip some alcohol, now that he is out of his sect it isn't against his rules" wei ying teased showing him a cup of his alcohol knowing very well that his husband won't even take a sip of the alcohol.

"Mn" lan Zhan said proving Wei Ying wrong once and for all by chugging in the whole cup down his throat. "Unbelievable!" Wei Ying excalimed looking at his husband who seemed to be very silent for some reason.

"You seem to have a great alcohol tolderance hanguang jun" Wei Ying commented having no idea that lan zhan was already intoxicated to the point where he could not speak normal words.

"Lan Zhan?"

"Lan Zhan"

"Oi! Lan Zhan!" Wei Ying tried calling his husband who seemed to not mind his mere presence at all. Lan Zhan looked up at wei ying before his head got slammed against the table.
