If you think that this book was all fluffy and sweet then you need to think again children (^^)

This book was dark in its very own league.

Here are some bitter, sad and good facts about this book children.

1) Lan wangji spent a few days in the tortoise of xuanwu cave with wei ying. In those days, he would reasure a sick wei ying that he wasn't going to leave him, nor or ever. But, when wei ying woke up, lan wangji was no longer with him. Hence his hatred for the man increased. Shit went down wei wuxian fell down the burial mounds thus came the first chapter when wei wuxian makes his entry as someone who is dark.

2) Lan wangji did what his father did to his mother in reality in this book. He had forcefully taken wei wuxian back to gusu. Given the fact that wei ying eventually gave in was because he has the independence to do whatever he desired.

3) The whole bethroal deal was political at first. Lan qiren didn't like wei wuxian at all, at first. But, as time went by lan qiren got used to him and started liking wei wuxian.

4) In the chapter when wei ying fell into the river, he didn't fall in love with lan wangji immediately, he realised that lan wangji was indeed his soulmate and wasn't lying to him about it. He saw the soulmark on his hand as he fell into the river.

5) If you think that the Lan clan was fine with wei wuxian practicing demonic cultivation, then you are very wrong. As time passed by, the only goal of the elders was to turn wei Ying into a model Lan and stop him from practicing demonic cultivation. As time went by, wei ying did eventually stop using chenqing, he only used it when he felt the need to.

6) The sect leader's were so mesmerized with wei wuxian that they had desired to have him for himself. Hence the siege battle army became even bigger in order to get wei wuxian all for themselves.

7) The Lan clan and the Jiang clan fought the battle knowing that if they lose the battle, wei wuxian was going to be taken away from them as a mere slave to be used.

8) As wei ying undid the spell casted upon him by wen qing during the siege he had broken several bones yet he fought the battle through pain.

9) Wei Ying decided to kill himself the moment he saw Lan wangji standing against him in the siege of the burial mounds. Which was all a misconception.

10) Lan wangji knew that he could move the amulet the whole time, but, the fact that he was a righteous lan stopped him from using it in order to save wei ying. But, in the end he did it anyways.

11) I originally wanted to write the whole mdzs book again in my version in such a way that there would be less angst and in a way that it covered pretty much all the incidents. Mpreg was definitely not planned. But, in the end I made the whole book revolve around mpreg which I regret.

12) when lan wangji didn't bring wei ying back to gusu lan it was presumed that wei ying was dead. This enraged lan qiren, thus Lan wangji was whipped on his back as a punishment.

13) wei wuxian's original intentions were to kill Jiang yanli. But, he didn't because he did not want his nephew to grow up without a mother.

14) I chose not to give baoshan sanren any last words in order to make the story heart wrenching.

15) Lan  wangji originally did not want to become a father. The fact that wei ying did not have a golden core made him resent the thought even more. But, in the end he had a three kids anyways.

16) Jin guangyao wasn't supposed to be a lecherous bastard by the end. But, I made him a perv anyways since it would most likely appeal to the readers' imagination.
