Lan zhan had walked outside after a few minutes, after wei Ying had passed out due to his tiredness on their shared bed. He had carefully tucked him in and kissed his tummy one last time before he left.

"Wangji you're awake!" His brother had stopped him on his tracks and hugged him all of a sudden, since he hadn't gotten a chance to do so because his dear brother had passed out earlier.

"Yes brother." Lan zhan replied as his brother was not taking a name of pulling away from the bone crushing hug.

"What about A'xian how is he?" Lan xichen pulled away from the hug and started questioning him.

"he fell asleep" lan zhan replied and Started taking a stroll around the cloud recesses along with his brother.

"The healer wanted to tell you something." Xichen said remembering that the physician also had a bad news to break.

Lan zhan tensed in his stance and looked at his brother with a fearful look , xichen who had noticed this gave him a reassuring look.

"It must not be that bad wangji" his younger brother just nodded walked with him to the healers pavilion.

After getting permission to enter the pavilion lan zhan had walked inside and bowed down to the old man who had treated Wei ying a few hours ago.

Before lan zhan could say anything the healer had handed him a paper and a box.

"the paper has some instructions for father's to be and the box has some needles. You will know why you need them."

The physician instructed. Lan zhan nodded but his mind was still directed towards the bad news the old healer had to give him. The said man had noticed this and without taking anymore time he broke the news to him.

"Your spouse needs to gain a lot of weight if he wants everything to go smoothly, considering that he has no golden core which is already a very crucial news."

Lan zhan tensed at his spot once again feeling his heart break into pieces he had realised that he had a choice to make now.

Wei things life could be in grave danger if something bad happens,

"The Littlest trigger's could put both your spouse and unborn childs life in danger"

" Make sure he takes lots of rest."

" I know what you are thinking right now childe, if this goes smoothly you have nothing to fear" the physician laughed gently and patted the man's shoulders.

"Yes elder" lan zhan bowed down to pay his respects and left the pavilion with a little relief knowing that if he took care of everything he had nothing to lose in the end.

Wei Ying and their unborn child were his one and only priority right now.

"What happened wangji? Why are you so gloomy?" Lan Xichen who had been waiting outside the pavilion for him, had noticed that his brother had a frown on his face.

At such a happy occasion he should be happy! He Celebrating such an occassion.

Lan xichen frowned upon hearing this but his frown was soon replaced by a gentle smile.

"Don't worry wangji, you have us." Lan zhan nodded and gave his brother a hopeful look. "When are you planning to announce it?" Lan xichen knew that it was an impossible task to hide a news like this, the truth was going to be out in a few months anyways even if they had chosen not to break the news to others.
