"you're so pretty" wei ying whispered staring at the baobei completely forgetting all his pains.

"They're so pretty, Lan Zhan" wei ying cooed at the babies in his arms who were fast asleep right now. Lan Zhan nodded almost tearing up once again at the sight of the three baobei's, and they were all his to protect and love to.

"Yiyi and A'Yuan, courtesy name lan Jingyi and lan Sīzhuī" Wei Ying whispered carressing their soft, chubby cheeks with his shaky hands. The younger was clearly tired after he awoke from his slumber,to his surprise his twins and lan zhan were right next to them the whole time.

"You really are good at keeping names hanguang jun" wei ying giggled at his husbands face , Which held nothing but happiness right now.

"They are so tiny and adorable lan zhan , I'm about to cry" wei ying whispered admiring the little baobei's who resembled both of them equally now that wei ying had been staring at them for a very long time.

"Jingyi resembles you" Lan Zhan spoke in a whimsical tone when he noticed his silver orbs , something rare amongst the lan sect people. The little baby squirmed a little before it's tiny red lips wobbled due to tye coldness.

Jingyi curled a bit and held a sleeping a'yuan's hands something which was common among newborn twins.

"Their tiny little fists , milky soft skin, golden and silvery orbs, they are perfect lan Zhan" wei ying carresed picked them up gently making sure that the silk was still wrapped around their tiny frame.

"Thank you" Lan Zhan said pressing a kiss on wei ying's forehead and two little kisses on the twins' forehead too.

"Why would you say thank you husband? They are the result of our love" wei Ying said in a corny tone kissing lan zhan's palms ans noticed the scratch marks he had left in his hands a few hours ago.

"Thank you for blessing me with them" lan Zhan pointed at the twins in wei ying's arms, Wei Ying chuckled and nodded knowing very well that Lan Zhan was getting nervous.

Something must have ticked the twins off when Wei Ying put them down on the bed next to him , because the second their tiny body touched the warm duvet they started wailing.

"Oh no" Wei Ying croaked out immeasurable cradling the baobei's in his arms and moved back and forth continuously lulling them with sweet little words of praises as Lan Zhan watched him with a proud gaze on his face.

The little baobei scrunched up it's tiny face as fresh tears left it's eyes along with the loud wail followed by his older brother who has picked up on the wails.

"Oh you little brute, making your brother cry too" wei ying cooed shaking his hands a little to lull his babies to sleep. "don't cry I'm about to cry too" wei ying whispered already sniffling to the point where his nose turned red the same way how his twins' face were right now.

It had taken him ten minutes to stop the little cries of his children with the help of lan Zhan they had finally stopped , now wide awake the twins were already winning their fathers' hearts.

Lan Sīzhuī wrapped his little hands around wei ying's index finger and meanwhile lan Jingyi had clutched onto his father's robes cooing at him whilst drool left his mouth.

"I could die for the three of you" Wei Ying said looking at the twins and lan Zhan who seemed to be preoccupied, the twins with their new surroundings and lan Zhan with his children.

"Won't let you, we will protect you" lan Zhan spoke in a stern tone as he adjusted the pillow on wei ying's back when he tried to sit straight.

"They must be hungry" Wei Ying spoke in a concerned tone when the baobei was starting get grumpy, turns out the baobei had just peed on lan zhan's robes.
