Wei Ying smiled at the bump hidden underneath his robes and carresed it gently. He was currently in the back mountains playing with his rabbits, escaping lan zhan's clutches was truly one of the best things he had done today he sighed as he was lost in his own thoughts.

Lan Zhan had gone completely protective over him yesterday when almost tripped over the wooden table. The older hadn't even let him go outside jingshi without anybody accompanying him.

So wei Ying had come to a conclusion and that was to escape jingshi early in the morning when lan zhan was outside getting to get him his breakfast.

Nuzzling the bunny closer to his nose Wei Ying sighed in relief. He enjoyed the fresh dew present in the atmosphere especially during the mornings.

Since the younger had been sick for most of the mornings he had decided to wake up early which did not work for him at all after all he usually slept when lan Zhan woke up in the morning.

"You're a cute little bun bun" wei Ying cooed at the new born bunny and nuzzled it closer to his chest. The bunny got inside his robes and hid inside, wei Ying gasped at the sudden escapade the bunny made but he smiled letting it go since the rabbit was inside his robes.

After a while wei Ying had dozed off under the tree silently without thinking about lan Zhan who was concerned of his whereabouts back in jingshi.

"Have you seen wei Ying?" He asked one of the disciples who just replied with a no and tried helping him find wei ying.

The anxiety increased by every second when wei Ying was nowhere to be seen.

He had immediately rushed towards the back mountains when he remembered that wei Ying was complaining to him about the bunnies yesterday.

"Wei Ying!" Lan Zhan panicked when he saw that wei Ying was climbing a tree trying to grab a little bunny that was stuck there.

"Come on come on! Bunny get down" wei Ying groaned trying to grab the little bunny that was stuck at the lean bark which was about break unable to support wei ying's weight.

"Wei Wuxian come down!" Lan Zhan said in a panicked tone accidentally calling wei Ying by his courtesy name. Wei Ying got scared when he heard lan zhan's voice calling him.

"Lan Zhan! The bunny is stuck there!" Wei Ying said trying to grab the rabbit at once. He almost succeeded by grabbing its tail but the scared bunny backed away.

"Come down" lan Zhan ordered him but he paid no attention to it wei Ying was still adamant on getting the bunny back with him.

"You're about to fall down wei Ying" If wei Ying fell down it would be like one of lan zhan's worst nightmare coming true.

Both his baobao and wei Ying could get hurt badly endangering both thier lives.

The bark creaked when wei Ying descended towards the end almost breaking at the point.

"Come on come on..." Wei Ying clutched onto his tummy protectively so that the baobei does not get hurt.

" Wei Ying!" Lan Zhan ran nearer to the tree to catch wei Ying who was about to fall anytime now.

"See lan Zhan I got the bun bun!" Wei Ying exclaimed and did a little victory dance on the bark shaking it in the process.

"Wei Ying you're about to fall" lan Zhan panicked when he saw the bark breaking.

" AAH!" Wei Ying screamed in shock when the bark he sat atop broke suddenly. He twisted his body in such a manner that his belly does not get hurt closing his eyes wei Ying thought that the ground was going to engulf his body.
