I jolted awake, as if on command, and sat up in my bed. I rubbed my eyes, looking around. My handbook buzzed to remind me to submit my rankings, although at this point I viewed it as little more than a pointless distraction.

"That's good enough." I thought, moving Atsuji and Ryuji to the top.
I threw on my uniform and made my way towards the cafeteria, but I couldn't escape the feeling that I was missing something.
Everyone was already there apart from Ryuji, but it wouldn't be fair to expect him to even show up at all.
"Good morning!" Kotomi said, bounding towards me.
"Is it?" Hannah asked, shutting her down.
"Not really.." Atsuji said. It had been a couple of days since I had had breakfast in the cafeteria, so it was definitely refreshing to be back. Then I noticed that nobody had got any food yet. They were all standing or sitting awkwardly waiting for someone to make the first move towards the kitchen.
I don't blame them. I certainly didn't want to eat any food that came out of that fridge, regardless of how well the traitor cleaned it.
Everyone's handbooks buzzed in unison.
Kotomi perked up, pulling out her handbook. "If it's the fridge that's the problem, I'll be able to help-"
