Chaper 6

Levi instructed you not to tell anyone until Erwin revealed the plans to everyone else, you wanted to protest but said nothing instead.

Heading outside, you started making your way over to your usual training spot when someone called your name.

"(Y/N)!"

Turning around, found Hanji running over and You grinned at her, waving your hand slightly.

"Yo."

"Where are you going?"

"Off to train with Otis."

"Ooo I have something I want to try!"

You rose a brow at her, but nodded your head. Letting you follow you. It was a small quiet spot, no one else trained here, so you knew you'd get some peace.

"So, can you and Otis swap positions?"

"Do you mean can he take over my body?"

She nodded her head excitedly.

"Yeah, I can either willingly do it or he can forcefully take it for my own safety."

"Amazing..." she muttered.

Hanji begun to scribble in her notebook before snapping her head back to you, pushing her glasses up.

"Can I see?!" She begged.

"Otis?" You asked.

"Fine by me."

"Sure."

You closed your eye, entering the depths of your mind. Standing there was Otis, the pair of you nodded, and fist bumped as he made his way forward, leaving you standing there in the background.

Your eyes opened again, but this time they were a bright yellow.

"You asked for me?" Otis asked.

"Oh wow, so you can do it!" Hanji gushed.

Otis stood there, he didn't really say anything. He wasn't too sure what to say. He took this as he chance to breathe in fresh air, as get out for a bit.

"So, do you have your own body?" Hanji asked him.

Otis started walking around, and she followed closely.

"You walk different to (Y/N)..." she muttered.

"I do and I don't have my own body. Technically I died years ago, so I do not have a physical body. However, being a demon means that I have a spiritual one, which is trapped in here."

"So how do demons make their way around without a body?"

"We obtain a vessel. (Y/N) is mine. We can either posses a person, or we're trapped in one."

"Why did you become a demon?"

Otis stopped suddenly at the question, he started down at the ground, lifting his hands up to look at them.

"I... do not wish to speak about that."

Hanjis preppy tone immediately went and was replaced with a serious one, she walked over and placed a hand on Otis' shoulder.

"Alright, I'm sorry."

He nodded a little and looked up at the sky.

"I do not regret my choice though. However I do wish I could find a way to undo it."

"You don't want to be a demon anymore?"

"I just wish to be free."

From inside your body, your heartached. You knew all too well that's how to demon felt, he'd often told you that he wanted to undo his curse, but couldn't.

"Anyhow, I must return. I can not stay out too long. Pleasure talking."

Otis did a bow and returned back inside, he stood at your side and you took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze before making you way out.

"We'll find a way I promise Otis."

"If only there was one kid. It's not so bad being stuck with you." He smiled.

You smiled back at him and left, standing in front of Hanji.

"You wouldn't think he's a demon." She mused.

"He's just tired. He wants to go home."

"Home?"

You nodded your head but didn't expand any further in it.

"What do you think would happen if you could find a way to undo everything?"

"Chances are, I'd probably die. He and I are tied, literally. So I'd either become a normal person, or die."

Hanji nodded her head and the pair of you begun to make your way back to the castle.

"So, tell me about you and shorty!" She yelled putting you in a headlock.

"Hanji there's not much to say!" You whinned trying to pull yourself free
