You stared at the note in your hand, the slip of paper slowly crinkling as you balled your hands together.
"(Y/N)?" Haden asked.
He walked over and you just silently held it out, letting him take it from you. He stood there for under a minute before rushing to Lucy, handing it over to her.
A heavy silence filled the room and Lucy set the page down.
"You need to decide now I'm afraid. He won't wait, do you want to set Otis free and train or go back home?"
You sat there thinking, you wanted to see everyone again, but this Micheal seemed to want you for some reason.
If he wanted you, chances are he wouldn't hesitate to hurt those to love in order to get what he wants, and you were no where near able to defend yourself against him from what you researched.
"Do you think Otis and I can safely separate?"
"Well, you are both strong enough, so I believe you stand a rather good chance." Lucy nodded.
"I agreed." Haden mumbled.
You placed you hands over your ears, blocking out everything as you thought about this.
"Otis please wake up.."
There was a short silence before a warmness spread over you. That's how Otis hugged you, he surged power through you body.
"Choose whatever will make you happy."
"I... I want to separate, train, because what if he hurts them...?"
"Then let's try it, but the moment your life is in danger we stop, okay?"
"Deal."
You lifted your head and put your hands down, staring at the pair.
"We want to separate. Who knows what he'll do to get to me. I need to make sure I can beat him if the time comes."
The pair before you nodded and stood up, gesturing you to follow them.
You all stayed silent as you walked. You were being led through an endless maze of halls that if you were left here on your own you'd most definitely get lost.
Finally they came to a stop at a large set of doors and pushed them open, padding inside. It was a large empty room, with one mirror placed at the far side.
"Go on." Lucy gestured.
You furrowed your brows and slowly walked closer to it, the closer you got the better you could see the mirror.
It's surface shimmering, your reflection changing into someone else.
A tall man, black hair with the warmest brown eyes you could ever see. His hair was neatly combed back, he wore a simple suit showing he was at least of high standards.
"Who is it?" You asked.
"Take a guess." Haden replied.
This time the Morrow shimmered again to show a figure you were all too familiar with. Shadows looking around his body, bright yellow eyes staring at you, messy air surrounding his face.
"Otis...?"
The being before you smiled and nodded his head.
"Yes."
You could clearly hear his voice now, it wasn't distorted or misplaced. It was smooth, and softly spoken.
"You must reach into the mirror and pull him out, it will weigh your soul, if it's clouded by hearted you will be pulled in and lost forever, however it is pure, you can pull him out. The body Otis will take is the body he had before he died, his original one."
You slowly nodded your head and reached out, Otis did the same. But you hesitated, your fingers just inches away.
"You don't have to do this." He smiled.
"I want to... but.. I know I've not always been the pure hearted person I am now."
"Have faith in yourself, you have the kindest, most selfless soul I have ever seen. I believe you can do it."
You closed your eyes, taking a breath before opening them again, meeting his yellow ones.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Ready." You nodded.
Reaching in, you clasped your hand around his wrist and instantly you felt a pull towards the mirror, you stumbled a bit but braced your feet, you weren't going anywhere anytime soon
