Otis stood there, he watched as you vanished, hands balled into fists as he bowed his head.

Now you were gone, he truly felt alone. No amounts of demons around him could replace that feeling. He hadn't realised how much he relied on you being with him, how much he needed you and enjoyed you there.

"Damn it (Y/N)..." he cursed hitting the table, "I'm going to break that contract just so I can be with you..."

Otis stares at the mark on he back of his hand that symboled the contact and brought his over hand over it, ready to end it just so he could go with you.

With the contact he wouldn't have to listen to your if you ordered him to do something. He'd be able to follow you even if you didn't want him too.

"There's no use in doing that." Haden spoke.

Otis jumped and spun around, eying Haden and Lucy.

"You can break it, but that doesn't mean you'll be able to find her. You have no clue where she has gone." Lucy sighed.

"Do you know where she is?"

Lucy shook her head.

"No, Nathanael refuses to tell me. But I know (Y/N) asked you to do something for her, correct?"

"Yes, check in some people."

"You may not be able to go with her, but you can help her in other ways. I'm sure knowing they're fine will help her, don't you think?"

Otis nodded, she had a point. It would take some weight of your shoulders to know that they were okay.

"Go then, go fulfil her wish."

"Yeah, I will."

Otis quickly flashed to the castle where the scouts resided, his body used the shadows in order to hide so they wouldn't know he was there.

He found himself in your old room, smiling at how clean it was. Everting back in its place.

"First her friends." He whispered.

He flashed to the dining hall, hearing them in that direction. They were talking, arguing and eating like usual. Many other soldiers were in there including Hanji and Mike.

"Shut up horse face!" Eren yelled.

"It's true!" Jean yelled back.

"It's not" Eren argued.

Otis smiled fondly, they were acting like their normal selves, though he could still sense their sadness lingering.

So, he flashed to Erwin's office, finding both the corporal and the commander himself sat in there talking.

"It's been nearly 4 months, I think it's soon going to be time." Erwin spoke sadly.

"No." Levi said, "not yet."

"She would have returned by now."

"Give it some more time, we can't presume she's dead just yet. Remember she's half demon, maybe titans aren't interested in that."

"She would've been back by now." Erwin sighed.

"She's not dead Erwin."

"Levi... I don't want to believe it more than you... but we need to face reality."

Levi grit his teeth, but he never said anything in return. Otis stood there silently watching, Levi and Erwin both looked over, staring straight at him but said nothing. They couldn't see him.

Otis could see the pain visible on their faces, although Levi denied it, Otis could tell her was starting to believe you were dead.

He debated this for a few moments, was it best they thought that? Did he leave a note? What did he do?

Flashing to Levi's office, he walked over to the paper and quill, quickly scribbling a few words down before standing up.

He spotting a folded bit of paper with your name on and picked it up. He didn't want to read it so he pocketed it and quickly left heading back to Mirock just as the door opened.

Levi walked to his desk and froze, ink splattered the wood, and a note laid there open on his desk.

Cautiously, he walked over and read the words on it.

Have faith, I cannot tell you where, but she's around
~ O

Levi stared the nite blankly, his hand reached for the one he wrote for you and he found it missing.

"O..." he whispered.

He tried putting a name to it, and after a minute something clicked in him.

"Otis..."

Where there was Otis, there was you, do you were clearly alive, right? So why didn't you stay?
