When you woke up, your body ached all over, but the worst of it passed.

Slowly you opened your eyes, and found yourself in the middle of an unfamiliar room. It was bright, large windows on one side just like the ones from the castle.

"Otis?" You asked softly.

There was a grumble but no response and you laughed softly. He was fast asleep so you decided to leave him.

Hauling yourself up, you took another look around the room, your eyes landing on the bedside table next you. On it was a glass of water, an apple and a neatly folded piece of paper.

Shrugging your shoulders, you drank some of the water, picked up the able and the note, swinging your legs over the side of the bed as you opened it.

The writing was unfamiliar, you couldn't place it.

When you awake, come to the garden. I'm usually there.
I have also folded some clothes for you and placed them on a nearby chair.
Sincerely,
Lucy

You furrowed your brows and put the letter and apple down. You looked at your attire. Someone had changed you so you were laid in just a pure white nightgown.

Your head reached up around your neck to find the necklace gone and in panic you shot out of bed too fast, your head started to spin.

You sat back down and cradled it, waiting for the sensation to pass before you slowly got up again.

Heading to the chair you grabbed the clothes. It was some simple black trousers, a white shirt, your black cloak, your boots and much to your relief your necklace.

You quickly changed, putting on the necklace and cloak on last.

Walking over, you grabbed the apple as you started walking and eating.

The place was like an endless maze, you made your way in on direction praying you wouldn't get lost. Thankfully you saw someone cleaning and sighed to yourself.

"Excuse me, where is the garden?" You asked.

"Ah, you must be the injured soldier Lucy brought home. Come, come." He smiled.

You followed behind the man, eyes taking in everything around you.

"Who's Lucy? Why did she bring me here?"

"Unfortunately dear, I can't say. She'll be best explaining that."

You just nodded, as he adjusted his shirt, you saw a symbol on the back of his neck.

It looked like the same contract you had on your arm, but different.

"What's that on your neck?"

"Ah, I'm sure you're familiar with it. A contract with a demon, they place their marks in odd places don't they."

You scrunched your brows, every time you asked one question another one seemed to come up. You weren't getting anywhere.

So many questions flew around your head.

What was this place?
Who was Lucy?
Why did she bring you here?
Why did this man have a demon seal?
What the hell was going on?
Where was everyone?

You saw a large set of doors open in front of you, the man walked over and stopped before them, gesturing outside.

"She'll be by the pond dear."

"Thanks..."

You slowly made your way outside, there was more people here. People tending to flowers, walking around, talking.

You concentrated and listened for the sound of water, wordlessly you followed it, eyeing up everyone you passed.

As you got closer, you could see two figures stood before the pond. A tall man with pure white hair he wore some simple clothes much like you, and a woman not much taller than you with brown hair wearing a blue dress.

"Are you Lucy?" You called out.

You kept you distance and kept your guard up.

The man and the woman turnt around, a smile made its way on to the woman's face while the man just stuffed his hands into his pockets.

"Ah, you're finally awake. Yes I am, and you're (Y/N) (L/N), and her demon Otis."

You growled, getting into a fighting stance.

"Who the hell are you? What do you want?"
