You stood with Otis for a little bit longer before you pulled away, looking up at him.

"I... I can't think about that right now... there's other stuff I have to think about."

"I understand, just let me know when you have decided, please?"

You just nodded and smiled weakly at him, pulling yourself free from his embrace.

"I will. I need to go find Lucy."

"Of course, I shall be in the library if you need me."

You nodded your head and brushed past him, heading further down the hallway while he took one of the turns.

You couldn't shake what Otis had said out of your mind. He wanted to say.

You didn't know what you were expecting, you suppose that part of you thought that he would always be there with you.

He'd been there with you since you were a baby, he'd been there for everything. You were an adult now and he was still here, you hadn't always been on the same side but that doesn't mean he wasn't always there.

You never thought you would be parting from him, you don't know if you could do it. You didn't want part him, and you didn't want to take him away from what he could see as a home. Yet, you didn't want to part from your friends or family either.

It was hard, you made your way to the garden, over to the fountain where Lucy was sat while deep in thought.

"You seem conflicted." She said.

You sat with here at the edge of the long and watched as the sun reflected from the surface of the water.

"I suppose I am, but that's not why I came to talk to you."

"That's alright, what bothers you?"

You sighed heavily, reaching your hand and dipped a finger into the water, watching as the ripples disrupted the sunsets reflection.

"I suppose I have a lot on my mind. But, I want to know what I should do. What's my next step? I've been training with Otis and he's said I've learnt all he can teach me, but I don't think it's enough to protect everyone."

Lucy nodded her head in understanding.

"Unfortunately I'm not the one who can decide, I can only guide you. Along with everyone else you may talk with."

You nodded your head this time, turning to face her.

"Then what should I do?"

"Speak to Nathanael, I think it's time."

"Time?"

She shook her head and stood up from where she was sitting.

"It's not my place to say. Go see Nathanael, head what he has to say."

"Okay."

Lucy gave you a warm smile then left, leaving you sit there and think.

You watched the sun on the water, you sat there silently, just simply observing. You tuned everything out expect the sounds of the breeze rustling through leaves, the birds chirping.

You found yourself at peace in that moment, you found yourself content. Everything in the world seemed to slow down at this moment.

Standing up, you started out over the pond once more before turning around.

You made your way to the other side of the garden back to the pathway and stepped in, waving your hand to summon some light.

You made your way down the pathway with some more confidence this time, you knew where you were going and the light seemed to guide you anyways.

You made your way towards the end of the path, you found the same silver fire but Nathanael wasn't there.

"Nathanael?" You called.

You walked around the fire, looking around. You looked up, and found the demon looking down at you from his spot on one of the large archways.

He leaped down and landed without a sound.

"You've come seeking answers." He said.

You nodded your head and he sighed heavily, walking over to you. He stood before you, his eyes boring into yours.

"I suppose it's time then."
