Chapter 3 ~They Left~

Lily's POV:
I woke up the next morning with my head still on Edward's chest.

I looked up at him and smiled, "Good morning" I told him happily, as I remembered what we did last night.

"Good morning" he told me with a smile.

I bit my lip nervously, "Was last night okay?" I asked him, worried that he might not have enjoyed it.

"Last night was the best night of my existence" he told me.

I smiled happily, before looking at the time. "We have to go to school" I told him and he nodded.

"I'll see you at school" he told me and I nodded as he got dressed and jumped out of my window.

I quickly took a shower and changed into my outfit as I waved my hair and put light makeup on.

I went downstairs and fed Finn breakfast before taking him out to go to the bathroom before I left for school.

As the day went on, I didn't see Edward or the Cullens. When I went to lunch, they weren't there.

I tried texting Edward and Alice but they didn't answer. I had a bad feeling something was going to happen.

When I got home from school, I got out of the car and saw Edward by the side of my house.

I walked towards him and smiled, "Hey, I thought I was gonna see you at school" I told him but he looked at me sadly.

"Come take a walk with me" he told me.

I nodded, "Okay, let me get Finn" I told him before going to the door and putting Finn's leash on and we walked to the woods.

I could sense Edward being distant towards me and it made me worry.

We were in the middle of the woods when he stopped. "We have to leave Forks" he told me without looking at me.

"Why?" I asked him.

"With what happened last night with Bella. Her constantly threatening to expose us, it's getting too dangerous for us" he told me.

"Okay, well, I'll tell Danny and I'll start packing" I told him but he had a sad look on his face.

"When you say "we"..." I trailed off, not wanting to finish.

"I mean my family and myself" he told me sadly.

I looked at him with tears in my eyes, "What about me? What about us?" I asked him.

"I can't ask you to come with us" he told me.

"But I want to be with you" I told him.

"And what about Danny?" he asked me, causing me to be silent, "Are you really gonna leave him alone, just to come with me?" He added.
