The next day, Edward was driving Will and I to where everyone was going to be training.
Edward got Will out and we walked towards the others. Danny came by me and gave me a hug then ruffling up Will's hair, causing him to laugh.
As I said last night, Danny was going to be in the fight. He also told me he now knows the Leah imprinted on him and they're together again. I just hope she doesn't hurt him again.
We turned around and saw the wolves come towards us. Some of the wolves growled at the Cullens.
"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms" Edward told Carlisle.
"They came. That's what matters" he told him, "Will you translate?" he asked and Edward nodded.
Carlisle walked towards the wolves as Edward was behind him. Will waved to the wolves happily.
I saw Jake look at me. I gave him a small smile, "Hey Jake" I told him and he gave me a nod.
"Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them" Carlisle told the wolves.
"They want to know how the newborns differ from us" Edward said.
"They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life" Carlisle explained, before letting Jasper lead.
"Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army, but no human army could stand against them" Jasper told them.
"Now, the two most important things to remember are, first, never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. And second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that, and you will lose" he finished.
Jasper turned away from them, "Emmett" he called to him.
"Are Uncle Jasper and Uncle Emmett going to fight?" Will asked me.
"Yeah. They're just going to practice" I told him and held his hand as we watched them.
"Don't hold back" Jasper told him.
"Not in my nature" Emmett told him before charging at him. He grabbed Jasper and threw him, but Jasper got up and they ran at each other again.
Emmett tried to hit him a couple of times but Jasper dodged all of them before Jasper threw Emmett on the ground.
