I decided to prick my finger and put some blood on some trees and leaves around the field.
"You're going overboard" Edward told me as I approached him and Will.
"If this and the containment spell are all I can contribute, I want to be thorough" I told him.
"Should I do it too, mommy?" Will asked me.
I smiled and shook my head, "No it's okay baby" I told him.
"The newborns'll be frantic" he told me as he grabbed my wrist and looked at the blood on my finger.
"It's okay. Don't make yourself uncomfortable" I told him.
He shook his head, "It doesn't bother me anymore" he told me.
"Since when?" I asked curiously.
"Since I spent 24 hours thinking you were dead" he told me before looking at my ring, "You're wearing your ring" he added surprised.
"Of course I am. Why would I take it off?" I asked him as I put my gloves on.
"I just thought you wouldn't risk Jacob seeing it" he told me.
I sighed, "I don't want to hurt him, but I've always seen him as my best friend" I told him. "Don't get any ideas thinking that I don't want this. I want you to have a clear head" I added.
"Who's head is unclear?" Jake asked as him and Seth came to us.
I smiled at them, "Nobody's" I told him.
"Alice says there's a storm coming" Edward told him.
"Yeah, I can feel it. We should get going" Jake said.
I nodded at him before turning to Edward, "I'll see you both in a couple of hours" he told me before kissing my forehead and giving one to Will.
"Bye Daddy" Will told him before Seth put him on his back as they started heading towards the woods.
