Edward and I walked into the Cullen house the next morning. Carlisle was sitting and doing research, Emmett was reading the newspaper, Jake was by the window, and Will was building a castle with his legos at the table.
"Wow. Done already?" Emmett asked us.
I rolled my eyes, "Where are the twins?" I asked while Will came up to me and gave me a hug.
"Blondie stole Katie and Hope is with Danny, Leah, and Seth in the living room" Jake told me as he watched Rose with Katie.
"Break a lot of stuff?" Emmett smirked at us.
"Emmett, no" I told him.
Will looked up at us confused, "Why would you break stuff?" he asked us.
"Emmett" Edward glared at him as Emmett laughed.
I rolled my eyes as the phone started to ring. "Who is it?" I asked.
"It's Charlie. He's been calling here and Danny, wanting to know if you're okay" Edward told me.
"Eventually, we'll have to tell him you didn't make it" Carlisle told me.
"We should let him know soon" Edward told me and I sighed but nodded.
"I'm gonna miss this place" Emmett said as he got up.
"We'll come back. We always do" Carlisle told him.
"Wait. Nobody said anything about leaving" Jacob said confused.
"Once people believe Lily is dead, we can't risk anyone seeing her" Carlisle explained.
"But why do you have to tell people she's dead?" Jake asked, "I mean she's doing fine so far" he added.
"I mean, he has a point. The only reason we were going to leave was to make sure I didn't hurt anyone and I'm doing well so far" I told them as they began to think.
I turned to Edward, "This is Will and the twins' home. I mean we have a house for them and everything. Why can't we stay?" I asked him.
Edward turned to Carlisle for his decision. Carlisle looked deep in thought before nodding, "All right, we'll stay. But we still need to be careful, we don't know how much control you have" Carlisle said.
I smiled and nodded, "So now that we're staying, we need to perform the twins' awakening" I told them.
"Awakening?" Jake asked me.
"It's a special ceremony. When a witch gives birth to a daughter, the ancestors are the ones to give the baby their magic and bless the baby" I explained to him.
"I have everything, but it needs to be outside" I told Edward.
Carlisle nodded, "We can have it tomorrow" he told me.
