Chapter 3 ~The Reception~

Lily's POV:
After the ceremony, the band was playing music. Everyone was talking and drinking champagne.

Edward held me close as I watched Will and Bree sit and play with some of his toy cars he brought.

Seth smiled and walked up to us followed by Billy, Sue, Charlie, Leah, and Danny.

"Hey man. Nice to see you" Seth greeted Edward and gave him a bro hug.

Edward likes Seth the most out of the wolves because he always had positive thoughts.

Seth smiled and hugged me, "I'm happy for you" he told me.

"Thanks Seth" I told him.

"I hope you'll be happy, Lily" Billy told me.

"Thank you, Billy" I told him before my smile fell, "Have you heard from him?" I asked.

Billy gave me a sympathetic smile, "I'm sure Jake wishes you the best" he told me.

"Well, I plan on getting drunk" Charlie said, making us laugh.

He turned to Sue, "They're serving up some pretty fancy champagne. Sue, can I get you a glass?" He asked her and she smiled.

Before she could say anything, Billy turned his wheelchair and hit Charlie, "Sparkling fire water. Sounds great" Billy said and rolled away with Seth following.

Sue and Charlie smiled at each other before following. Danny went and shook Edward's hand, "You take care of her" he told him.

"I will, Danny. You have my word" Edward told him.

I looked at Leah, who was a little uncomfortable. I walked up to her and smiled, "I know we got off on the wrong foot" I told her.

She gave me a small smile, "Yeah but it's okay. I get it. You're protective over Danny. I am too with Seth" she told me.

"But I love him. You don't have to worry about me hurting him or anything" she assured me.

"Take care of him for me. I know you'll make him happy. Well, happier. I've never seen him like this with any girl. You're the first girl I actually approve of him being with" I told her and she smiled.

Danny grabbed her hand and went to go see Will for a bit.

"Lily" I heard and saw some of Carlisle's friends from Denali.

Carmen, I think, kissed my cheeks in greeting. Eleazar gave Edward a hug and turned to me, "Congratulations" he told me.

"Thank you" I said. "Eleazar and Carmen, right?" I asked.

They nodded, "Hola" Eleazar greeted.

"Yes, and these are our cousins from Alaska" Edward gestured to the two blondes, "Tanya and Kate" he added.

They smiled at me, "We've heard so much about you" Kate told me.

"Welcome to the family" Eleazar said.

"Bienvenida" Carmen told me.

"It's incredible to meet one of your kind. And one as powerful as you. I haven't met a witch in a very long time" Eleazar told me.

"Thank you" I told him.

"Irina" Carmen called out to another blonde, "Come meet, Lily" she added.

I noticed Irina was staring at Seth and Leah.

Irina slowly came towards Carmen, "I can't do this" she told them.

"You promise" Tanya told her.

Irina turned and glared at Seth and Leah, "They invited two" she said.
