Chapter 6 ~The Wolves Know~

3rd POV
It's been two weeks since Lily and Edward went on their honeymoon.

Jake was driving to his house when he saw Charlie's police car parked.

He walked in as Billy rolled up to him. "Hey, son" Billy greeted.

"What's going on?" Jacob asked him.

"Danny called him about Lily. Danny said he had to take a couple days off for Lily" Billy informed his son.

Jake walked towards Charlie and they shook hands, "Hey haven't seen you in a while" Charlie told him, "You okay?" He asked.

"So, Danny called about Lily?" Jake asked him.

"Yeah. He's going fly out to check on Lily. It seems she caught a bug" Charlie told him.

"She's sick?" Jake asked, thinking that they had changed her.

"Yeah, Danny told me not to worry about her, but he sounded... I don't know, off" Charlie told Jake, a little concerned about both Knight siblings.

"They'll be okay, Charlie. Come on, let's eat" Sue said.

Jake turned to walk out, when Billy stopped him, "Jacob, let it go" Billy told his son.

Jake pulled his arm away and walked out of the house and drove to the Cullen House. He had to know if Lily was okay.

When he got there, he marched up to the door as Carlisle opened it for him.

"Is it true?" Jacob asked as he walked into the house.

"Hello, Jacob. How are you?" Carlisle asked him.

"Listen, just give it to me straight" Jacob told him.

"Jake, is that you?" Lily asked when she thought she heard his voice.

"She's here?" Jacob asked angrily.

"They came home two weeks ago" he told him before Jacob went up the stairs.

When he walked into the living room, he saw Lily on the couch being hidden by Rosalie and Bree.

Danny was standing behind the couch where Lily was sitting. Will was on the couch next to his mom.

Jacob walked towards Lily trying to see her from behind Rosalie and Bree.

"I'm glad you came" Lily told him.

He took a couple more steps but was stopped by Rosalie, "Close enough" she told him.

"What's your problem?" Jacob asked her.

"Rose, it's okay" Lily told her.

Rose let him pass and he sat in front of Lily and Will.

"You look terrible" he told her as he noticed her pale skin and the dark circles around her eyes. Her face even looked thinner.

Lily gave him a small smile, "Yeah, it's nice to see you too" she told him.

"So are you going to tell me what's wrong with you?" Jacob asked her.

She sighed, "Rose, you wanna help me up?" she asked the blonde.

"I'll help too, mama" Will said.

Lily removed the blanket from her lap, showing her very large pregnant belly. Rose grabbed her hands to pull her up as Will held his hands out, making sure she didn't fall.

Jacob stood up in shock as he looked at her stomach. He turned and glared at Edward.

"You did this!" He exclaimed and took steps towards Edward as Emmett and Danny stopped him.
