I threw Jake and Seth on the ground in front of the house.
"You imprinted on my daughters?!" I yelled angrily as the others came out onto the porch.
"It wasn't our choice" Jake told me.
"They're babies!" I yelled at him as lightning struck.
"It's not like that, Lily" Seth told me.
"You think Edward would let us live if it was?" Jake asked.
"I'm still debating" Edward added in as he leaned against the porch.
I started walking down the stairs towards them, "I held them once! One time! And already you think that you have some moronic wolfy claims on them? They're my babies!" I yelled.
I threw my hands out and they flew onto the ground. They stood up as Leah came out in wolf form and growled at me.
"It's fine, Leah" Seth told his sister.
"You're gonna stay away from them" I told them.
"You know we can't do that" Jake told me before I punched him in the chest with my newborn strength.
"Stop her, Edward" I heard Esme tell Edward.
"He said it's fine. She's amazing, right?" I heard Edward say.
Jake got up and stood next to Seth, "Do you remember how much you wanted to be around us 3 days ago? That's gone now, right?" Jake asked me.
"Long gone" I growled at him.
"Because it was the twins. From the beginning it was Katie and Hope who wanted us there" Seth explained to me.
I clenched my fists as the ground began to crack as blue energy and magic surrounded me as I became protective over my babies.
"Lily" Jake called out to me cautiously as I glared at him.
"You know me better than anyone. You know Seth and what kind of person he is. All we want is for Katie and Hope to be safe. Happy" he told me.
"Look, nothing ever made sense before. You. Me. Any of it. And now I understand why. This was the reason" Jake added.
I looked between them and slowly unclenched my fists as the blue energy started to disappear and I became more calmer.
