When we were ready, we went downstairs and I put him in his high chair. I gave him a sippy cup with milk and animal blood in it.
I'll give him the cups in the morning and when I pick him up from daycare. Danny was in the kitchen and made French toast.
We all ate together and it was nice. "I need to tell you something" Danny told me seriously.
"Okay?" I said but it came out as a question.
"I'm seeing this girl" he told me and I raised my eyebrows.
"What's her name?" I asked him.
"Leah Clearwater" he told me.
"Harry's daughter?" I asked and he nodded.
"Is it serious?" I asked.
"We only went out on two dates, but I really like her" he told me.
"So what's the problem?" I asked.
"She's hesitant with being with me" he told me.
"Why?" I asked him.
"She didn't really tell me. She just said that she has trust issues because of her ex" he told me.
"So why are you telling us?" I asked him, referring to Will and I, who was making a mess with the syrup.
"Because you're my sister and he's my nephew. And plus if I didn't tell you sooner and we became serious, you'd be mad and make a tornado and destroy my room" he told me.
"That's true" I told him before looking at the time and seeing that I had to go school.
"All right. I'm out" I announced before giving kisses on Will's head, "Goodbye my baby boy. Be good at daycare and I'll see you after school" I told him and he gave me a syrupy smile.
