Chapter 10 ~It's Time~

Lily's POV:

I was sitting in the living room with Alice, Rose, and Danny as Rose begged me to tell them the names of the twins. I told her I wanted to wait until Jake came back.

Bree was with Will in his room playing with his toys. I heard footsteps come into the room and I saw Jake come in as Edward followed.

Rose and Alice helped me up as Jake stood in front of me. "Hey" I greeted happily.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah, it's not like I'm the one carrying demon twins" he joked and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Okay, he's here. Now tell us" Rose begged.

"What now?" Jake asked confused.

"Lily has kept all of them waiting until you came back to announce the twins' names" Edward laughed.

"I needed my best friend here for the big reveal" I told Jake.

"Well, let's hear it then" Jake told me.

"For Will, I named him after my dad and Edward. So I thought it would be a good idea to name them after someone" I explained and they nodded.

"For boys, Anthony Carlisle and Christian Jacob" I announced.

I named the twins after Edward, Carlisle, Danny, and Jacob. Christian is Danny's middle name. They all smiled happily at the names.

"They're perfect!" Rose told me.

"What about the girls?" Alice asked me.

"For girls, Katherine Rose and Hope Alice" I answered.

Rose and Alice smiled happily that the twins could possibly be named after them. Hope was my middle name.

My parents said that I brought them hope. That one day, I could fulfill my purpose in bringing peace to our world.

"Katherine and Hope?" Jake asked.

"It was my mom's name and my middle name. What do you think?" I asked him.

"It's nice" he told me.

"Beautiful. I like Katherine and Hope" Edward told me.

I smiled and placed my hand on my stomach, "They like it too" I told Rose as she was about to give me the cup of blood.

3rd POV:

As Lily reached for the cup it slipped out of her hand. She tried to reach for it when her back broke and she cried out in pain.

She fell to her knees and they broke as well. She was about to hit her head on the ground when Edward caught it just in time as the others rushed to her as well.

Lily was now going into labor. Edward picked her up and ran her to the hospital room as the others followed while Alice was on the phone with Carlisle.

Danny and Jacob were both on each side of her. "Rosalie, pass the morphine" Edward said and Rosalie did as she was told.

"Carlisle said the placenta must have detached" Alice told Edward as he injected the morphine into Lily.

"He's coming as fast as he can, but..." Alice was cut off by Rose, "Then we'll have to do it" she said and grabbed the scalpel.

Edward grabbed her wrist and stopped her, "Rose! Let the morphine spread" Edward told her.

"There's no time. They're dying!" Rosalie exclaimed.

"Get them out! Please!" Lily screamed, scared for her babies.
