Chapter 11~The Ending~

3rd POV:

Suddenly, Aro was brought back to the field before the battle started. He looked around and saw that it was a vision Alice was showing him.

"Now you know. That's your future, unless you decide on another course" Alice told him.

"We cannot alter our course. The children still pose a grave threat" Caius told Aro.

"But what if you were sure they could remain concealed from the human world? Could we leave in peace?" Edward asked.

"Of course. But that cannot be known" Caius said.

"Actually, it can" Edward said as two more vampires walked onto the field and stood in front of the Volturi.

"I've been searching for witnesses of my own among the Ticuna tribes of Brazil" Alice said.

"We have enough witnesses" Caius said.

"Let him speak, brother" Aro told Caius.

"I am half human, half vampire. Like the children. A vampire seduced my mother, who died giving birth to me. My aunt Huilen raised me as her own. I made her immortal" the man said.

Lily stepped forward, "How old are you?"

Nahuel turned to her, "A hundred and fifty years" he told her.

Lily and Edward shared a small smile, knowing that they would have a long time with their children.

"At what age did you reach maturity?" Aro asked.

"I became full-grown seven years after my birth. I've not changed since then" Nahuel answered.

Lily turned and smiled at her three kids, who all gave her a smile.

"And your diet?" Aro asked.

"Blood, human food. I can survive on either" Nahuel said.

"These children are much like us" Marcus said.

"Regardless, the Cullens have been consorting with werewolves, our natural enemies" Caius said, trying to convince his brothers that they should kill the Cullens.

Aro turned to his army, "Dear ones, there is no danger here. We will not fight today."

Some of the Volturi looked disappointed, especially Caius and Jane, but they listened to Aro and quickly left.

Aro was the last to leave. He took one last look at Alice, Lily, and the children.

"Such a prize" he said, knowing that if he had them, the Volturi would be unstoppable.

He turned around and left.

"We have them on the run. Now is the time to attack" Vladimir told Carlisle as he and Stefan walked up to him.

"Not today" Carlisle told him before going to his mate.

"You're all fools! The Volturi might be gone, but they will never forgive what happened here" Stefan said before they ran off.

The Cullens and their witnesses didn't listen as they rejoiced in the fact that they didn't have to fight.

Lily held Katie as Edward held Hope and they put their arms around Will and had a family hug. They were all together again, they were all safe now.

Lily turned to Jacob as he looked at her. She gave him a smile and he nodded at her before running off with the rest of the wolves, howling.

~AT THE CULLEN HOUSE~

The witnesses were all saying goodbye to one another before leaving and going back home.

Jasper said goodbye to his dear friends Peter and Charlotte before they left.

Edward, Jacob, and Seth watched as Will, Katie, and Hope said goodbye to Senna and Zafrina.

"They're gonna be around for a long time, aren't they?" Jacob asked.

"A very long time" Edward said as his children smiled at him.

"I'm glad Katie and Hope have you both" Edward told the two wolves.

Jacob and Seth smile, "Should we start calling you 'Dad'?" Jacob asked.

Edward shook his head, "No" making the wolves laugh.

Katie and Hope ran to Edward and hugged him as Will followed after them.

"Hey" Lily said, walking up to her family.

She grabbed Katie's hand and put it on her cheek to listen to her thoughts before looking Hope in the eyes and listening to her thoughts.

"Yeah, we're all gonna be together now" Lily said before Will and the twins gave her a hug and Lily kissed their heads.

As the children hugged their mother, Alice watched in the distance before being pulled into a vision.

It was of the kids all grown up. Will was holding Bree in his arms. Katie had her head on Jacob's shoulder. Seth had Hope in his arms. They were all happy together.

Then Edward and Lily joined them in the vision. The kids greeted their parents happily.

Alice was pulled out of the vision and Edward smiled as he read her thoughts and seeing the vision of his children all grown up and happy together.

Lily's POV:

Edward and I were sitting in our meadow together.

"I wanna show you something" I told him and smiled.

"What?" he asked.

I took down my shield and showed him my memories of our time together. From the first time we saw each other all the way up to now.

The first time our eyes connected in the cafeteria. When we talked in biology. When we told each other about what we were.

Our first kiss. Our adventures in the woods. The fight with James. Our first time. Him leaving and Will being born.

Going to Italy and saving him. Our family trip up north. Him proposing to me. Our wedding. Our honeymoon.

The twins being born and my transition. The times we spent with the kids. Our 'I Love You's'.

He smiled at me when it was over, "How did you do that?"

I smiled, "I've been practicing"

I looked in his eyes, "Now you know, I've loved you since the first time I saw you in the cafeteria and I will continue to love you forever."

I put my hand on his cheek, "Nobody's ever loved anybody as much as I love you" I added.

He smiled, "There's one exception" he said, referring to how much he loves me.

I smiled and nodded before he pulled me into a loving kiss.

"Will you show me again?" he asked, making me giggle.

"We've got a lot of time" I told him.

"Forever" he said happily.

I smiled at him, "Forever," and I pulled him into another kiss.

My purpose as a witch was now fulfilled and now I get to spend forever with my soulmate and my three beautiful children.
