7: 1993; Potions Draco

DRACO'S POV

Thursday, September 2

I woke up with a headache this morning. I didn't sleep well last night. I kept thinking about what I said to Blaise and thought maybe I could go against what my father said and apologize to him.

I decided to go to the library before my first class, which was potions. I liked the library, it was like a safe place where I could be alone. I put on my uniform and saw Pansy in the common room. When I met eyes with her she started smiling at me. I rolled my eyes.

"Hello Draco! How are you?"

"Bad, now that I saw your face."

She rolled her eyes and went in her dorm. What a great way to ruin my day. She was so annoying!

I rushed towards the library, turned a corner and bumped into Y/N and she fell on the ground. She was with Cedric Diggory? What was she doing with him? Oh for fuck's sake why would I give a shit!

"Watch where you're going!" I angrily said at her before rushing to the library.

I got in and sat at a table in the back of some shelves. I opened my book and started reading. Why would Diggory want to hang out with her? I really can't see why. Maybe because two idiots fits along with each other! I scoffed a little while thinking about them laughing with each other. I got stuck in my thoughts when I found myself alone in the library. I looked at my watch.

"Shit!" I muttered to myself.

I was late! I took my stuff and started running towards Snape's classroom. I opened the door and everyone's head turned towards me.

"Mr. Malfoy, you are late."

Well I know. What do you think.

"I know, I'm sorry professor."

"Take the seat next to Ms. Y/L/N."

Are you kidding me? I won't be sitting next to her.

"Isn't there another place where I could sit?"

"No." He said firmly.

I rolled my eyes and sat with her.

We picked at each other a little. I hated her, since yesterday. She's been bold to even say those things to me.

"Oh fuck you!" I said in the fire of our argument.

"You wish."

This little bitch! As if I'd like anything that has to do with her. Already that I had to sit next to her!

I didn't want to see Blaise this morning so I skipped breakfast, but now I was kinda hungry. I snuck a green apple out of my bag and started eating, hoping that Snape wouldn't see. But sadly, he saw and I had to throw it away. Plus he took of 5points from Slytherin just because of an apple!

"Ha!" She whispered mockingly to me.

"Ms. Y/L/N do you have something to share with the class?"

"Hm no..." She said softly.

"That's what I thought."

Well that's what she gets for not minding her own business. At the end of the class I saw her talk to the teacher so I waited outside of the classroom to hear what she was saying to him. She asked to be seated somewhere else.

"Looks like you're stuck with me Y/L/N."

"Shut up Malfoy."

"Already going strong with the attitude." I said smirking at her.

"Oh stop it." I heard Cedric say behind us.

Oh this stupid Diggory boy again! I didn't want to start a fight, he wasn't worth it so I just rolled my eyes and left.

I went back to the library and saw Ron sitting down at a table. That was curious, I didn't think this stupid boy even knew what a library was. Then, I saw a blonde girl coming towards him, I think her name was Lavender or something? Obviously, Weasly came here to snog a stupid girl and not to educate his mind. I rolled my eyes and sat at a table.

"Do I know you?" I heard Ron whisper at the girl.

So he didn't even come with her. Strange.

"Well... No, I mean I'm sitting next to you in potions class. I'm Lavender Brown."

"Oh, well nice to meet you."

"What are you reading?" She asked.

"Oh hm it's called 'The Cheater'."

"What is it about?"

"Well it's a muggle book, Hermione said she really like it so I took it from her and decided to read it."

Well I didn't know Weasly was interested in reading books. I told myself I should probably stop listening to their conversation, but honestly I didn't have anything else to do.

"So you and Hermione are pretty close huh?"

"Well yeah of course."

"I'm going to go." Lavender said while taking her books.

"Okay bye." Ron whispered while looking back at Hermione's book.

"Aren't you going to ask me to stay?!" Lavender said in a normal voice tone.

"Shhh." A student said.

"Aren't you going to ask me to stay?" She asked him softly.

"Well you can if you want."

"But do you want me to?"

"Hm... I don't want to be late I should probably go anyway. Bye." Ron said awkwardly while leaving.

Well, no need to search really far to understand that Lavender has a crush on this lazy Weasly. I got up and went to my other classes.

At dinner I saw Blaise, I acted like nothing happened and so did he. We talked and nothing more really happened. I just went back to my dorm and fell asleep at the end of the day.
