DRACO'S PO
Saturday, September 25
It was finally the weekend. I woke up this morning, went in the shower and put on black pants, a silky black blouse and a belt. I went to the Great Hall for breakfast.
"You look so good Dracoooo!"
"I know Pansy."
Did I?
"Good morning Blaise."
"Hey! Slept well?"
"Yes why?"
"You talk in your sleep."
"Erm-"
"Sorry to expose you."
"What did he sayyyy?" Pansy asked with a flirty voice.
"None of your business." I said while looking at Blaise with big eyes.
"Well he said-"
"Blaise don't you dare."
"Okay fine."
I didn't even know I talked in my sleep. After this really awkward moment, I left to go to the astronomy tower.
I wanted to practice some spells. There's this one I've been dying to try. I looked it up in some books and its called Expecto Patronum. Apparently if you're good enough an animal in blue light will come out of it. I tried multiple times, but it never worked. I read a little bit more about it and it says 'In order to create a Patronus charm the wizard or witch will need to think of their happiest and deepest memory."
What was my happiest memory? I thought about it for a long time and realized that, I didn't have one. I've been unhappy since I was born. I thought that all the times my parents would buy me new stuff would work as my happiest memory, but it didn't. They weren't deep enough.
Disappointed, I left and stayed in my dorm thinking about all of this for the rest of the day. I bet Ron would be able to produce the spell. I was so useless, sad. I just wished I could get rid of this reputation I have to keep up with and just be myself. But if my dad learned that his son got "soft" he would probably kill me.
Blaise entered the room.
"Want to go for a walk Draco?"
"Sure."
We went outside and walked on the school grounds.
"What's going on."
"Nothing."
"Draco I know you."
"I can't make a Patronus charm."
"Well don't be upset by that, it's normal! That's some pretty advanced stuff."
"Do you know how to produce a Patronus?"
"Well yeah, you think about your happiest memory."
"Yeah, well turns out that I don't have one."
"What do you mean! Your parents got you everything you wanted as a kid, that would've made me the happiest child in the world."
"Well apparently it's not enough. It takes a deep connection or something." I said while rolling my eyes.
"Don't worry, we're still young. You have plenty of time to create good enough memories so you can make a Patronus."
"I guess so..."
