Y/N'S POV
Friday, September 16
"Can Draco come?" I asked George.
"Let me see with Fred." He answered, with a small smile.
Next week was the first Quidditch match of the year. Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw and obviously Fred and George already planned a party for the red team's victory. They were certain of winning.
I tried to convince them to let Draco in, but they've been pretty clear about the no Slytherin rule at the Gryffindor parties.
They were okay with letting them in for general festivities in the room of requirement, but when it came to small gatherings in the common room they were touchy.
I went back to the Hufflepuff table and sat next to Hydra, sighing.
"What's going on?" She asked, putting her pumpkin juice down.
"Fred and George won't let my boyfriend come to the Gryffindor party, next week."
I said, taking my fork to eat."Who's your boyfriend?"
"Draco Malfoy." I answered, looking over at his table, smiling at him.
"Oh for real?" She asked, sounding surprised.
"You look shock." I said, a small grin up my face.
"I know him and I just didn't think he was your type." She said, looking at her plate.
"Or... did you think I wasn't his type."
She looked at me slightly, blushing.
"It's not like that! I mean, you're amazing!"
I looked at her and chuckled.
"Don't worry! Everyone thinks the same. I mean I'm a Hufflepuff and he used to hate us." I said.
I've known Hydra for two weeks now, we spent all of our time together and honestly, I kind of let Hermione, Harry, Ron, Cedric Ginny and Luna behind, but they didn't seem to mind. After all, Hermione was always with Ron, Harry with Cedric, Luna with Neville and well, Ginny started hanging out a lot with Dean Thomas.
"Do you want to go to Defense Against The Dark Arts?" Hydra asked me, putting away what was left of her meal.
"Yes!" I said, doing the same and getting up.
I passed by the Slytherin table to say goodbye to Draco. I kissed him and when he looked up he saw my new friend.
"Black." He nodded.
"Malfoy." She said, nicely.
"It's nice to see you back."
"Yeah, well it's nice to be back." She added.
When we left for our class, as we walked in the hallways, I spoke up.
"Your family name's Black?" I asked.
"Yeah." She answered.
"Like Draco's mum, are you related?" I asked.
I immediately regretted asking, I thought it was kind of a dumb question. After all, in the muggle world, it was common for people to have the same family name and not be related.
"Yeah, we are. The noble Black family." She said, rolling her eyes.
"Is that a bad thing?" I asked.
"For some people it's not, for me it is." She said, giving me a faint small as we entered the DADA classroom.
We sat down for our third lesson with Professor Moody. He was an odd teacher, but I guess he was competent if Dumbledore decided to offer him the job.
