I woke up and smiled. It's been about two weeks that I was here and I already felt at home! Cedric and I spent a lot of time together, he was a great friend. I couldn't believe how amazing this school was, except for Malfoy who kept being an arse with me. I got in my uniform and headed to the common room when I saw Cedric reading a book in front of the fire.
"Good morning." He said while flipping a page of his book.
"Good morning!" I said
He turned his head and closed his book.
"Oh hey it's you." He said with a smile.
"Yes." I said while smiling.
"How are you?"
"I'm pretty good you?"
"Never been better! Today's the first Quidditch match of the year." He said excitedly.
"Oh yes I've heard of Quidditch. It looks like a rather dangerous sport."
"It can be. Depends on the team you're playing against. If you want we could sit together and watch the game? It's Gryffindor against Slytherin today."
"Yes that would be great."
"Awesome. Hm see you later then." He said while smiling at the ground.
"See ya!" I said while scooting out of the common room. I headed towards the Great Hall and sat next to Ron as Hermione decided to sit next to Harry this morning.
"First game of the season Harry! How are you feeling?" Hermione asked.
"Honestly, great! I feel like we're going to win."
"Oh you're on the team?" I asked while spreading some jam on my toast.
"Yes! Are you going to watch us play?"
"Of course I am!"
"You can sit with us if you want." Ron said with his mouth full.
Hermione glared at him and sighed.
"Sorry, no more talking when I'm eating." Ron said giving her a small smile.
"Well I already told Cedric I was going to sit with him, but we could all sit together!" I said, breaking the awkward silence.
"Wait, Cedric as in tall, cute, old Cedric Diggory?" Hermione asked in shock.
"Well... Cedric Diggory in Hufflepuff yes." I said while laughing a little at her face.
"Tall, cute, old Cedric Diggory!" Ron said, imitating Hermione before rolling his eye.
"Great to know you fancy me Weasly." Cedric said laughing as he was walking by.
He looked at me.
"See you later?"
"Yes. Well actually could we sit with Ron and Hermione too?"
"Sure!" He said while leaving.
After breakfast I went to my classes. After my day was done I went back to my dorm to get ready for the Quidditch match. I put on some cozy clothes and wondered if I should bring a sweater, but I decided I would be good.
