I don't know what just happened, but I do know that I don't want to ever lose this man. I decide to deal with the tabloids later. I go to the cabinet and grab down some Tupperware and an insulated lunch tote. I go to the pantry grabbing a bag of chips, a pack of cookies, a loaf of bread and a banana then set them on the counter. Next, I head to the fridge and pull-out turkey, ham, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and condiment packets. I lay down the bread, stack the ham, turkey and then a piece of bacon left from breakfast. Next, I add the cheese, then another piece of bread. Repeat the meat and cheese layers then top with the last piece of bread creating a perfectly put together club sandwich. I slice the tomato thin, chop the lettuce and put them in separate containers. Otherwise, the bread would get soggy, and I hate that. I throw the sandwich in a Tupperware and put it in the bottom of the lunch pail. I fill each of the other containers with different snacks and place them in the pail as well. I top everything with a few packets of mayo and mustard and a napkin. Finding a piece of paper, I write

I don't know what came over me, but I just suddenly went into wife mode. I laugh at the thought. What is this man doing to me? When I see Jace walk through the kitchen door, I want to attack him. Damn he looks so good in that uniform. I hand him the lunch pail. "What's this?" He asks grinning. "You're lunch and snacks! I don't want you to get hungry while you work!" He wraps his big arms around me and kisses me softly. "You are absolutely amazing. I could get used to mornings like this. Thank you, baby. I will text you in a bit. See you after a while." I hug him tight and softly say "I can get used to this too, Angel. Please be safe. If I don't respond that means I'm in the booth. See you soon!" When he walks out of the house, I instantly miss him. What the hell is wrong with me?
