What just happened? I think there is more to Gabriel and Aria than I thought. Not that I'm intimidated by him. She obviously chose me. Part of me wants to ask her about it, but part of me doesn't want to know. I guess it really doesn't make a difference, but I just want to think about her and I in the shower not her and her stepbrother. But could they? I try to push it to the back of my head.
She is incredible. I watch her as she pours me a cup of coffee and starts preparing breakfast. She is making bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy. You know, for a celebrity I figured she would eat like all organic and vegan. Lord, I'm glad she doesn't. We discuss our day plans and wait for our breakfast to be ready. The aroma of bacon fills the kitchen. It smells amazing. "So do you have plans later?" She asks. The truth is I don't want to do anything but spend time with her. My son isn't with me, so I have no need to be home. "Nope, no plans Kaiden is with Jamie, I only have him every other weekend, so I have no responsibilities." A look of excitement crosses her face "So... Do you want to come here then?" I nod as I take a sip of the hot coffee. It's delicious. "Of course. There is nowhere else I would rather be."
Breakfast is finally ready; we grab a plate and sit at the granite bar in the kitchen. I fill my plate with big thick pieces of bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs with cheese, and smother two biscuits in gravy. Everything is cooked to perfection. The bacon is crispy but not burnt just how I like it and the gravy is possibly the best gravy I have ever eaten. If she feeds me like this every morning I may never leave. "This is by far the best breakfast anyone has ever cooked for me. This gravy is phenomenal." I say as I stuff the delicious food into my mouth. Smiling she says "Thank you, it is my Nana's recipe. Wait till you have one of my Sunday breakfasts. I cook more than this." Good, she plans on keeping me around. I hate to admit this to myself, but I like her. I really like her. This is madness.
