(Ash p.o.v)

After Spencer and Derek got the information they needed they left and I got more information that I deemed might be useful. Once I was done I left the church and got out of my disguise before heading down to the needed location and found people I needed to talk to.

I walked into the police station and walked into the conference room we were given before dropping the file I had on the table before sitting next to Spencer.
"What's this?" Aaron asked
"Needed information. Most likely everything we will need." I stated as he began to look through it.
"Baby you were gone for an hour." Derek stated
'When did he start calling me baby?'
"Yeah. I needed paper, hence it taking longer then needed."
"Where did you get all this?"
"Some of it from the church. Some more from the library and a third dislocated location." I told before taking Spencer's left hand to play with since I felt like I made them hating me worse.
'Maybe I should have played it safe.'
"What's the third one?"
"Oh right. I made friends with a gang. Who ever the unsub is, they do not like them."
"Your friends with a gang?" Emily asked
"Now I am. We switched pie recipes."
"We could make that when we have time back home." Spencer told.
"It's a cherry pie, so fingers cross it's good. I know a guy who really likes cherry pies."
"How are you not questioning this Spencer?" Jj asked
"It's a normal thing to expect when you know Ash."
"Ashley you weren't meant to do all this. You were to go to the church with Reid and Morgan and come back with the information you got from there." Aaron told
"Oh god." I told making them look towards me. "You haven't read my contract have you?"
"No. Why would I?"
"Spencer pass your bag please." I told making him grab it and hand it to me and I quickly grabbed the spare contract and went to the high lighted parts before reading them out. "While working in the BAU, she is allowed to use any means she deems necessary (as long as it is legal) to get the information she needs. If she decides to not inform her team leader before hand, it can only be done if there is no time, but if she is able to she needs to tell them."
"Can I see that?" He asked and I tossed it to him.
"Go right ahead boss man. But it was the only way to get me to agree to join the team since I wouldn't have otherwise. I should know, since she's been trying to get me to join after a year of me being a PI."
"And you didn't realise sooner I was on the team?"
"She didn't tell me anything about the team till she introduced me to you lot."
"This is excellent work Harper."
"Thank you. And please call me Ashley."
"Why don't you like being called Harper?" Jj asked
"I just don't like it. Feels wrong."
"Why don't you change it to the one you said you would rather have?"
"You know why I haven't done that."
"Because then you need to change all your certificates?"
"Exactly."
"I think we should call it a day for now." Hotch told making me know what was going to happen.
'I hate you so much Spencer.'

~(earlier)~

"There aren't enough rooms for all of us to get one due to a convention on clowns. So people will need to share." Aaron told
"Ashley, why don't you share a room with me and Emily. That way we get to know one another more." Jj told
"Oh that's a bad idea." I told
"Ash, it could help."
"Spencer, only you know about.... that."
"You will be okay." He told

~(back to the room situation)~

I walked into the room and grabbed my clothes before going to the bathroom to get changed. Once I was done I walked out and put my hair up into a bun so it didn't get in the way.
"Why did I think she wasn't going to wear anything long sleeved?" Emily joked.
"I only wear shorts and short sleeves if it's too hot for me to handle." I told before she went and got changed.
"So Ashley, what was Spencer like at uni?" Jj asked as she sat on her bed.
"Oh I gotta know this!" Emily exclaimed as she rushed out still putting her shirt on.
"Your shirts on back to front and inside out." I told before closing my eyes.
"Why'd you close your eyes?"
"Some people aren't always comfortable with getting changed in front of people. So I've shut my eyes to be polite while you fix the shirt."
"Why is it she seems like Reid sometimes and then the complete opposite?" Emily asked making Jj laugh.
"I've got no clue. Maybe Spence was correct in saying they are more alike then we think."
"We were roommates when we were younger." I told
"You were?"
"Yeah. Our campus allowed for male and female roommates, so we did that. Am I able to open my eyes again?"
"Yeah you can." She told making me blink a few times to help them readjust to the light. "But he basically was like how he is now. Which is great since it means that even when I was away he hardly changed."
"You are strange Ash." Emily told
"I've been told that and it's Ashley."
"We can't call you Ash?" Jj asked
"I don't allow a lot of people to call me Ash. Kinda like how I don't have a lot of people call me this one nickname that I won't repeat since it makes people ask and I'm not all for that."
"Maybe we should go to sleep." Jj suggested.
"Definitely." Emily added.
Jj turned the light off after me and Emily were in our beds and I waited till I knew they were both asleep before getting out of my bed. I grabbed what I needed and set everything up how I needed it before grabbing the lowest head light I owned.
'This case is getting peculiar and peculiar.'
I grabbed my various colours of strings and began to work.
'I love my job.'
