'His bank statements said he still lives here so that's a good thing. Also Aunty said the team she wants me on just got back in for the night and that they have the weekend off, so Baby face should be home.'
I began to pick his lock when one of his neighbours came out and saw what I was doing.
"I left my keys inside and my roommate is a deep sleeper. Fire a gun and he will most likely sleep through it." I told making them nod before walking away.
'Jesus Christ that worked. Gotta love when people believe you.'
I finally got it open and walked in before shutting the door and locking it again. I looked around to see it still looked the same and I went to where his room was. When I walked in I saw he was dead to the world.
"What am I gonna do with you Baby face?" I quietly asked myself before I walked out and put his kettle on to make him a coffee.
I kept an ear out for any sounds in his place while I made his coffee to find he must have been really tired.
'Work must be tough. Wish I could help him but I'm not working for the government.'
I placed the spoon in the sink and carefully took his coffee to his room before placing it gently on his bedside table. I crouched down in my spot to get a better look at his face, only to see it still looked like he hasn't fully aged from being 14 maybe 15 max, making me give a small smile.
'I kinda hope you will always have a baby face Spencey.'
I looked over at the clock to see it said 8:00 making me think about what to do.
'I feel bad for wanting to wake him up. He looks so peaceful as well.'
Before I could figure out what I was going to do, Spencer moved slightly making me realise he was beginning to wake up.
"You know, your late for work Spencer." I told making him shoot up in bed.
"I'm awake. I'm awake." He told making me laugh since he still hasn't opened his eyes.
"Baby face chill. It's Saturday. I just said that to wake you."
Once he realised what was going on he looked at me and gave a confused look.
"Ash?"
"What up. I made you coffee."
"Thank you. Why are you in my house?"
"I was close to the neighbourhood, so I came to spend time with the good doctor."
"How'd you get in my house?"
"Your door was unlocked and I was worried for you Spence."
"You picked it didn't you."
"Yeah. Neighbour saw. I'm now your roommate. It's like uni and the academy all over again.... except we aren't actually roommates."
"What case were you working this time?"
"This elderly man went missing. Po-Po couldn't find him, and this detective dude called Dan called me up. Turns out, his sisters best friend, has a cousin called Sherry, sounds like a stripper name if you ask me but that's not the point. Sherrys brother-in-law, has a niece who has a best friend that was kidnapped up in Jersey."
"Her name was Mary Lopez. She had been missing for two days till she was found."
"Well that was actually my case. And because I found her alive so fast, her parents went around going if you need someone found hit me up. And it made its way up all to Dan. So he hit me up and went I need help. So I go to help and using what he found out already, I was able to quickly discover that he did not exist, and the so called grandkids made him up to get money. Who would have known?"
"Sounds interesting."
"It was. Dude tried to punch me, I got to tase him. It was fantastic. So what has the great 187 been up to without me in his life to give him Encouragement?"
"You also made fun of me."
"Only a wee bit." I told as I held my fingers together to show how much. "But it all comes from a place of love."
"We worked a case in HollyWood Land."
"Oh my Fucken god. You said the original name. How are you still single? I wanna jump you this instant Dr.Spencer Reid." I told making him blush and get flustered.
'Still so adorable when he does that.'
"Well these actresses were getting murdered. And we had to protect Lila Archer."
"Yeah I know her. Haven't met her but Peter definitely had a small crush on her before I slapped him and went dumbass, she isn't an object for you to creepy look at. Talk to the girl. After they talked he came back and went no spark sadly."
"She pulled me into the pool and kissed me."
"You had your first kiss."
"We both know, that's not my first kiss."
"Blame Mike. He said we couldn't leave that room."
"Do you still miss him?"
"All the time. You?"
"Same."
"But anyway. How did it go?"
"We stopped the unsub, turns out it was her friend who was also in love with her. People actually took a photo of us saying goodbye."
"No way? What's the name of it?"
"I'm not telling you."
"You know I saw this article in this magazine I was reading. Think you will enjoy it." I told as I reached into my bag and pulled the magazine out. "Think it was on page 25."
He quickly pulled it out of my hands making me get a shocked look towards him as well as smiling.
"You already knew?"
"Marcus wanted me to get it since page 25 is something you will like."
He quickly went to the page and looked at what it said before looking back up to me.
"Your releasing the album you made when we were 18?"
"Yeah. Good songs on there, I just didn't cause it hurt a lot. I'm kinda ready to let the world hear it as a to you weirdo in the sky."
"So how long are you in town for?"
"A few days. I'm meeting a friend of my mothers for lunch, she's kinda like my Aunty."
"Any news on...."
"None."
"I'm sure they will find something."
"I don't think they will Spence. It's been 18 years. I've made peace with myself in knowing that I will never find out."
"Your father...."
"Haven't seen or heard from him. Thank the lords for that."
"That's good."
"But let's not focus on my dysfunctional family. I'm here because it's the weekend and I miss seeing my adorable dr." I told making him smile. "We can do what ever you want. As long as we have fun, enjoy the life we have, and make memories we will cherish forever."
"A whole day with me?"
"Whole weekend. Just you, me and the world at our feet. What you say, Spencey?"
"I will love to Bunny."
"I hate you."
"No you don't."
"Your lucky your cute." I told as I gave his nose a quick kiss before getting off his bed. "Hurry up Spencey. We gotta get this show on the road!"

"Better hope your friends and family can save you. We gotta get this show on the road."

"Ash. You ok?" Spencer asked making me look towards the team.
'Must have really zoned out.'
"What if the unsub was buried alive once?"
"What makes you say that?" David asked
"It would make sense. I mean the victims were all buried alive. Sue, wasn't though. She put up a fight so the unsub couldn't drug her and burry her.... were ransoms made to family members of the others?"
"No. Should they?" Aaron asked
"No it's a case some people I know worked on. Was worried it was the same person for a second. But what if the reason for the recent snap was because the person that buried them either died making them not be able to do the one thing they wanted. Revenge."
"Get this to Penelope and see if she can make a connection." Aaron told Derek making him give a nod.
'Cool.'
"And Ashley."
"Yes?"
"Good job." He told making me smile.
"Thanks sir."
'Really fitting in. Slowly but I'm making a home for myself. Mike would be proud.'
