We were walking back to our hotel rooms to figure out where we will go to eat when my phone began to ring. I quickly stopped and began to pat myself down till I found my phone and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hey Babe. Just curious, who would win in a fight. Batman or Superman?"
"Why are you asking this Shawn?"
"Well Gus says it's Superman, but I'm saying it's Batman. We need a deciding factor, and we are able to call you now so I'm calling to figure this out."
"Obviously Batman. Cause he can just use a kryptonite to help him beat Superman. Simple thinking really."
"Told you Batman would win!"
"Come on son!"
"You come on!"
"What's the real reason you called me Shawn?"
"Just been missing you a lot. When are you coming home?"
"I don't know. Hopefully in a few weeks or something?"
"You ok? Your sounding really off.... also your hiding your accent."
"My co-workers don't know about the accent thing and it's just this case."
"What you working on this time?" Gus questioned making me know it was now on speaker.
"All the children were abused." I told
"Do you need us or me to come to you? Cause we will do that."
"I should be fine. I've got Spencey with me and he knows. So I've got someone who's lookin' out for me."
"Call of text any of us if that changes." Shawn stated making me smile.
"I will. I gotta go though, cause we gotta plan for din din and my team are talkin' as well as giving me looks wonderin' who I'm talkin' to." I told
"Alright. Talk later Bunny."
"Bye boys."
"Bye!" They both exclaimed before I hung up.
'Glad I have them.'
I walked back over to the group and they all have a curious look.
"Who was that?" Derek asked
"My roommate and our friend. They were having an argument on who would win in a fight Superman or Batman and needed a tie breaker."
"Batman." Spencer told
"I didn't know you had a roommate." Jj stated.
"Oh right. No my roommate from before I came here. I still live with them when I visit and what not. Also we both still call the house, home and what not. So what are we eating today?" I questioned giving a smile.
'He is definitely going to come visit.... most likely will need it.'
