Bed rest is what you need

After a few hours I left Ash in her bed and met the team in the waiting room.
"She's going to be alright." I told as I walked near them.
"Did you know your friend was kidnapped by them?" Hotch asked
"I had no idea. If I did I would have warned you all."
"Where did she learn to throw that axe?" Emily asked
"I actually have no clue. Last time we talked she couldn't."
"When was the last time you and her talked pretty boy?"
"Before I was kidnapped by Tobias. So she doesn't know about the dilaudid situation and I would rather keep it that way.... though knowing her she will work it out."
"Spencer that was a year ago." Jj told.
"We both have busy lives. She's a private eye in Pennsylvania and has a thing about phones, while I work with the fbi. So we don't get to talk a lot." I explained
"And you never told us about her?" Rossi asked
"Once you get to know Ash, you'll learn that if you talk about her and what she is like, it makes you sound crazy." I told before seeing a nurse run. "Oh no."
"Oh no?" They asked
"I just remembered I left Ash alone in her room, which is in a hospital and what she does. I got to go back to her." I told before leaving.
'How could I forget? She did this last time.'
"Pretty boy wait up!" Morgan called as he ran to catch up to me.
"Can't really wait. I'm just hoping she is still close to her room." I told before seeing her outside in the garden looking at the pond.
We made our way to her and she was very focus on the fishes in the pond.
"Ash! They've told you, your fit enough to leave your hospital room?"
"Of course. I wouldn't go on walk a-bouts if I wasn't given the all clear, Spencey." She told not looking away from the pond.
"Ash you didn't." I said as she turned to look at us.
"You know something Spencer?" Morgan asked
"Hey your the dude I kicked. Sorry bout that. In my defence... it was self defence." She told
"Ash, you gotta stop leaving your room when your in hospital."
"I'm still in the hospital so they can find me whenever."
"Ash, they locked down the whole hospital last time."
"She's done this before?!"
"I have strong man. I get bored."
"We are taking you back to your room now."
"Come on Spencey! Enjoy the fishes with me."
"No Ash. You gotta stay in bed."
"You know ever since you became a g-man your no longer fun. He would be very upset with you, 'Come on baby face, live your life and don't let those normies drag you down'."
"Your just saying that because I'm taking you back to your room." I told as I slowly lift her up.
"Still smart thankfully."
"Yeah because one of us needs to help you make smart decisions."
"I make smart decisions. See ya later Derek!"
"You told her about me pretty boy?!"
"No I haven't. I don't know how...."
"Easy, I got ya phone. You shouldn't make the password 3141."
"Ash!"
"I had to contact my aunt and tell her I'm fine."
"Come on. Let's get you back to your room, and get you to rest up."
"Fine!"
"Still the same old same old." I told
"Same to you Spencey." She told making us smile.

I was reading one of the books I had brought in for me when there was a knock at the door, making me look up to see Hotch.
"Hey." I said as I gave a small wave.
He gave a nod as they all walked in and he saw she had her eyes closed.
"Oh she's asleep. We can ask her questions later." Hotch told.
"No she's awake. Ash wake up."
She didn't say anything and they gave me a confused look.
"Pretty boy...." He began before I cut him off by holding up a finger to quiet him.
"Guess if she is asleep, I'll have her Jello." I told as I grabbed it
"Boy if you eat all my jello imma throw my pillow at ya."
"Stop pretending your asleep. My co workers need to ask you questions."
"Fine." She told before she opened her eyes and sat up. "What you guys wanna know?"
"Why were you there?" Rossi asked
"Guy called Chris said his girl went missing and hasn't contacted him in a week. Gave me a photo of her and gave me all the information I needed to find her. She always kept in contact with him and always made sure to contact him at least once a day and if she couldn't, then the most they would go was three days. So I asked what was the last place she said she was at, he told me the place and I went on my way to find her. I did. And while I was at a pay phone I got blitzed."
"Your not really one to let someone sneak up on you Ash." I stated
"I was more focus telling the dude I've located his kid. But I ended up becoming one of their vics. Told 'em that I ain't no snitch. Got stabbed, got out and well you guys know the rest. Spencey past the jello, I'll go half n half with you." She told before I passed it to her.
"So what about this?" Jj asked referring to the two of us.
"We both went to Caltech." I told
"We were besties along with another bud. Oh remember when you flipped out forgetting I was supposed to come over that one time. That was funny." She told laughing before grabbing her sides. "Owie!"
"Are you ok?" Jj asked.
"Yeah. This isn't the first time I have been hurt enough where I had to be in hospital. Spencey knows all about them."
"Yeah, I always had to have someone stay with you while I went and got something or visited my mother."
"What are they on about?" Emily asked
"Apparently our lady here goes walking when she isn't meant to." Morgan told.
"I'm one for adventure. The amount of stories Spencey has of me dragging him about stating we gotta live life. He's my sane boy and I'm his crazy lady." She told smiling.
"You two...." Hotch began making me cut him off.
"No, no, no! We have only been friends, it's just something we used to say with another friend of ours."
"Yeah. So am I arrested for killing those people? Cause I gotta say, they were all trying to kill me."
"No. It was all self defence, so you'll be fine."
"Sweet! Ya hear that Spencey, means we gonna get wasted tonight!"
"Ash you can't drink, your in hospital!"
"There are multiple ways to get wasted. Especially in a hospital."
"No, the answer is no Ash."
"If I can pick your pocket without you knowing, I'll find a way." She told.
"These two are a very unlikely pair." Morgan told making them all agree.
"They called us a pair Spencey. I think their growing to like me."
"Just eat your jello."
"So what do we call you?" Hotch asked
"Ashley. Spencey is a lucky duck, he can call me Ash."
'These is going to be weird.'
