I walked into the Jeffersonian lab and made my way into Angie's office to see the team, minus Cam I presume since I still haven't had met her, working away at the hologram thingy that Angie had made.
"You know, I've always wondered what this place would be if you lot didn't work here!" I stated making them look towards me.
"Ash!" They all exclaimed as they rushed to greet me.
"Bone team!" I added trying to hold my tears back.
"You didn't tell me you were coming to visit, Sweetie." Angie told as she hugged me.
Once I was in her arms I tightly held onto her as I tried to keep the tears from falling.
"Ashley? Are you ok?" Seeley asked and Angie pulled away so she could see my face.
"Ash? What's wrong?"
"I'm saying goodbye to people. You guys were after Santa Barbara.... Side note, I am a single Pringle again." I told but whispered the last part for Angie.
"Why are you saying goodbye?" Temperance asked.
"Ashley. Why are you saying goodbye?" Angie asked making pull my bottom lip a bit before I began to speak.
"I have a job. My non-biological aunt called Erin has given me it. In a week or so I will be undercover for who knows how long. Which means I will not be able to contact or see any of you, as to not risk your safety or mine." I told as a few tears fell.
"She can't do that." Angie told as tears fell down her face as well.
"It's too late. I'm so sorry." I cried making her hug me.
"I don't want to lose you." She admitted.
"You are the best cousin I could have asked for. Which says a lot cause cause there are a few cousins." I joked making us chuckle.
After a few moments, we pulled apart and I gave her a smile as we all cried in this.
"I love you and I know you probably wish we just went somewhere to spend Christmas together instead of locked in cause of Valley fever. But I am so fucken glad you were going to force me to that party. Cause I got to meet all these guys and I fucken love these people. I wouldn't change a single second." I admitted.
"I knew it." She told making us laugh before I turned to Jack.
"Bug boy."
"Bug girl." He told trying not to cry.
"I'm gonna fucken miss your updates on.... Well everything. I will admit though, I miss when we were in my car underground slowly dying."
"No you don't." He told.
"Yeah you're right, we're fucken traumatised." I told making us laugh before they turned into tears and we hugged.
"I'm gonna miss you." He whispered.
"Gonna miss you as well. Please take care of Angie, I don't want her to feel alone." I whispered making him nod.
"I will."
We pulled apart and I turned to Seeley.
"Shooter."
"Eyes."
"You are a good fed. And I am glad to call you my friend." I told making us smile.
"I'm glad to call you one as well."
"To think, this friendship started with you wanting to shoot me and I wanted to punch you."
"Simple times." He joked making us laugh, we then clasped hands together before hugging the other.
When we pulled away I then went to Temperance to see she was struggling to keep it together like the rest of us.
"I wish you didn't have to go."
"Same Doc. But it's were my path is heading now. I'm glad Angie introduced us."
"I am glad as well."
"Remember when we first met all those years ago and you wanted to hire me to find your parents?"
"Of course. You didn't want to do it. Simple as that."
"Not really Doc. I was going to accept the job." I confessed confusing her slightly.
"Why didn't you then? You told me the likelihood of finding them alive were slim to none, yet you were going to accept." She stated making me smile.
"You were a funny chick to me. Besides, if you truely think about my gift it's not what people think it really is. I'm not really finding the things people want kept hidden, I'm find people the closure they really need. Besides like Angie said, we've got more in common then anyone may know realise. I have never been able to find or get closure on what happened to my mother, but I wanted to give it to you." I admitted.
"Then why didn't you?"
"I got a message. It didn't say much. Just the simple, stay away for your own good type of deal."
"That's why you declined?"
"No. I've gotten a lot of notes like that, it didn't stop me. What did was the call I got on my home number in the place I was staying at temporarily while I was visiting Angie. Don't know the man, he never called me again after that. But he told me, I was to never take this case. Because if I took it, not only will I be hurting you.... I'd also be hurting my family. I couldn't risk them getting hurt Temperance, I'm really sorry I am." I told making her smile as tears fell down our faces.
"I'm glad you didn't take the case. I know how much your family means to you, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to them. Thank you." She told and I remembered the thing I held onto this whole time.
"Shit. I forgot." I told as I searched my pocket. "Dude had this with the note. Honestly think he broke in, but he didn't steal anything so no point in reporting it."
"Really?!" Seeley questioned making us laugh.
I soon found it and pulled it out of my pocket to reveal a silver bracelet with some dolphins on it.

"Note said to give this to you when the time was right. I might never see you guys again, or end up like my mother. Feels like the right time, wouldn't you agree?" I asked as I cried and I handed it to her.
"It's Dolphins?"
"Yeah. Little creepy honestly. But note said you'd know what it means and I best thought not to question creepy letters." I told
"Thank you Ash."
"Hey you called me Ash."
"I did. Thank you." She told before I pulled her into a hug as we cried.
"You are one of my best friends, I'd do anything to help you. I thank Angela for introducing us.... And I know you will be there for her when I can not."
"You're one of my best friends as well." She confessed before I let go and went to Zack.
"Bone bone..... my lovely lovely Bone boy." I told as I cupped his face.
"Bunny."
"I hate the hair cut." I told making us laugh.
"Blame Cam. I needed to look professional." He told.
"Imma fight a bitch."
"I will just pick you up to stop you." He told and I whipped his tears away.
"Honestly that would be pretty hot." I admitted making him blush. "Still got it."
"I'm going to miss you so much."
"You've got that album to remind me off."
"The Ashlyn Monroe one you gave me called Mr.Loverman?" He questioned and I nod.
"Yeah."
"I don't know how that's gonna remind me of you." He confessed making me hug him so I could whisper in his ear.
"I'm Ashlyn Monroe, and that Album is about you." I whispered before kissing his cheek and pulled away.
"Really?" He quietly asked and I nodded.
"Really. Surprise."
He didn't say anything but grab my face and pulled me in for a kiss. I was shocked for a second or two before kissing back. After how ever long we pulled away and I couldn't help but give a loving smile towards him.
"That was a good farewell kiss." I admitted.
"Too far?"
"Na, just right." I told before giving him another hug. "Can I make one final request?"
"Anything Sweetie." Angie told.
"Can I get a group hug?" I asked as I began go cry for like the umpteenth time.
"Alway." She told before they rushed over and gave me a hug.
'Now I need to say goodbye to my team..... I wish I didn't get attached, but it was impossible to not do so.'
