The last month went somewhat well. Spencer actually came with me for Christmas holidays back home in Santa Barbara..... where we ended up getting involved in a murder case. But it was nice spending the Christmas holidays with him joining in again. Of course now that it was a new year..... things were interesting to say the least.

You see, we had a quick case in New Orleans. Solved it quicker then we thought we would, so we went to a club/bar I used to go to when I was younger.
"So how old were you coming here again?" Aaron questioned.
"I started coming here when I was around 13. It's a very nice place, Spencer actually came with me a few times during uni breaks."
"It's very interesting." He added as we walked in.
We walked towards the counter and we were showed to our seats, which was a booth near the stage.
"Does he still work here?" Spencer asked making me nod as I looked over the menu.
"Always...... oooooo they have fried chicken!!!!"
"Oh no."
"Oh I am going in a food coma tonight!"
"This is probably the least strangest thing Ashley has ever been." Emily told making us all laugh.

As we enjoyed our food they began to perform though I just focused on the food while they did so. But the other's attentions went right to the man who was singing.
'Oh I'm definitely getting caught.'

"I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed days, the dark sacred nights
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands, saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying, "I love you"

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world."

After a few other songs, he came over to our table and smiled when he saw me, despite the fact I was probably looking like a mess from the amount of food I was eating.
"Bumpkin!" He called making me give him a closed smile since I had food in my mouth still.
"Bumpkin?" The team minus Spencer questioned.
Once he was next to us he gave my head a kiss, which was when I could finally speak.
"Hey Dad."
"He's your father?!" The team questioned.
"Somewhat. More adoptive father, but I see Ash and her siblings as my kids just as much as my biological ones. The names Christopher." He told.
"Hey Christopher." Spencer told.
"Good to see you again so soon Baby face."
"I hate your family."
"No you don't." We both told before he got a napkin.
"Ashley, my dear. You need to clean all this grease off of you." He told as he began to wipe my face clean.
"Dad! I'm an adult."
"Still doesn't mean your not my baby girl."
"So are my sisters and adoptive siblings."
"More adoptive cousins that are now in my care."
"I thought you adopted Harley and Caleb?"
"In the process. Just not officially yet.
"Don't care. Their gonna be my baby brother and sister soon might as well just start calling them my family."
"I guess." He told before licking it to put it on my face.
"Nope. I draw the line at that."
"I know. Was curious how long it would take you to stop me."
"Baby, is this why you always came here?" Derek asked.
"Yeah. Christopher owns the joint. We actually spent most Christmas's here growing up. Little jealous my older siblings got to see it first."
"You come here more anyway when you get the chance."
"I suppose."
"You want more food?" He asked making my eyes light up.
"Really?"
"I know how much you and your siblings can eat. My god we always have trouble making sure we have enough for all of us, so try how much you all eat."
"Food coma!" I exclaimed causing him to chuckle with my team.
"Do you have any baby photos of her?" David asked.
"Oh. Hers and her other siblings are at her uncles place. I only have her older brother and sisters, and even then those are just copy's."
"Any embarrassing story's?" Jj asked.
"All the embarrassing story's."
"I regret bringing people here." I told making them laugh.
