We were at another house from a family that had their child kidnapped meaning we had limited time.
"Are you able to work anything out?" Derek asked
"You know what I do isn't an exact science. I've been doing deductions and profiling since I was 7, and yeah I'm smart but I've got a lot going on so it'll be some time for shit to piece together, like a colour blind dude trying to do a puzzle but not knowing he's colourblind."
"That makes no sense." He stated.
"When was the last time you saw your daughter?" Aaron asked the crying parents.
"This morning when we sent her off to school. She meets with her friends just at the end of the street for the school bus."
"What about her friend?" I asked.
"Think she wasn't feeling well." The mother told making me give a nod before going to the bed room.
I looked around the room quickly before closing my eyes, and began to hum a tune as I did steps around the room like I was dancing, which reminded me of the wedding case I helped on back home.
'Life was like a hurricane, here in Duckburg. Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes. It's a duck-blur! Might solve a mystery. Or rewrite history! DuckTales! whoo hoo!
Everyday they're out, they're making DuckTales! whoo-oo! Tales of daring do bad and good LuckTales! whoo-oo.....'
"What the hell is she doing?" Emily questioned as I stopped and walked over to the bottom draw in her dresser.
"Ashley, what's going on?" David questioned.
"Every girl gets a diary, and they hide it." I told pulling it out from under her jumper.
"How'd you know she would have hid it there?" Derek asked.
"Cause it's where I would have hid it. Duh." I told before reaching under to feel the key stuck to the draw on top of the other and opened it.
"And the key?" David asked
"It's common knowledge to keep keys close."
I quickly got it opened and began to read through it to see a drawing of eyes from the window.
"Derek."
"Yeah?"
"I need you to go outside this window." I told making him quickly rush to do that.
I laid down in her bed and put my sunglasses on so it seemed like it was night and waited till Derek was at the window. As soon as he did I compared the memory of the drawing to what Derek looked like making me spring up.
'Holy fuck!'
"What?"
"He stalks them first. They aren't random at all." I stated before rushing up and headed towards the end of the street.
'What is out of the ordinary here? What clue can you give me?'
I noticed there was tire tracks on the road, making me lean towards it and rub my fingers against it to see it was still fresh.
'What interrupted you?'
I looked towards the house and saw a little girl in the window making me wave, only for her to hide.
'Alrighty then.'(Memory)
"Come on Bunny. How about you and your siblings come and get ice cream with us?"
"You sure we won't be a bother Mr.Spencer?"
"Of course not. There's enough room for you all."
"Alright. They are 3 so they will need their baby carriers and what not."
"I do not mind. You kids are like my kids as well, so I'm happy to help take care of them."
"Ok."
"Also. Stop calling me Mr.Spencer. Been over this that you can call me Henry."
"I'll keep that in mind.""Ash?"
"The girl in that house. I think she might have seen what happened." I explained as I looked towards the window she's at.
"Really?"
"Yeah. See how she's peaking behind the curtain, she doesn't feel safe." I told before heading to the front door.
'Hope this goes well.'
