'Thank god that's over.'
We walked to the hotel we were staying at since we finished the case, when my phone rang. I looked at the contact to see it was Denis calling me. I quickly picked it up since I knew I would get an ear full of I didn't.
"Ello?"
"Oh good you picked up. Marcus isn't able to contact you about your next album since he is off doing meetings for Edith, Edgar and Peter. They all have different things going on and I was the only one to get a free moment to call you."
"Right. I'm not home, I'm on a case."
"Do you know when?"
"Most likely tomorrow. I can do more work then and what not."
"Excellent. Also tell your friend I said hi." He told before hanging up.
"Was that Denis or Marcus?" Spencer asked
"Denis. He says hi."
"Tell him I say hi when you see or talk to him next."
"Tomorrow."
"We have work tomorrow, Ash."
"I do not. I'm a week ahead of work. I've been so bored I've been stealing everyone's."
"You've been stealing work from us baby?" Derek asked
"Yeah. You are all welcome."
'I can't wait to go home and sleep. I'm exhausted."

We walked into the office when Penelope rushed towards us and wrapped her arms around me, making me freeze and look towards Spencer.
"She's hugging me Spence."
"I know."
"She's not letting go Spence."
"She wants you to hug back."
"You know how I am with hugs and with who I'm ok with hugging me." I told making her pull away.
"You don't like hugs?" She asked
"I'm just not a big fan of physical contact from people."
"Your always giving Spencer hugs though?" Jj questioned.
"That's because she's grown to being fine with me having physical contact with her. There's not a lot of people she's fine with it." He told as I moved out of her grasp and into his arms.
"Is that why you always hide behind pretty boy when people want to shake your hand?" Derek asked
"Yeah. If they think it's just a shy thing then they wouldn't feel hurt when I reject their handshakes."
"Why not tell them you don't?" David asked
"I'm not really comfortable with telling people sometimes that I don't like physical contact. My cousin actually had to tell her co-workers that I was trying to lighten the mood since I don't like people touching me unless I allow it."
"You have a cousin?" Jj asked
"Yeah. I spend Christmas with her and my Unkie, and some other people we know."
"Did the others show up for the Christmas you told me about?"
"They couldn't make it. Since their plane was late which made them late. We were able to meet them once we got released."
"That's good."
"Yeah. They all had to give the oldest kid 50 bucks each, because they still think we be dating."
"Why do they always think that?"
"If I knew don't you think I would've slapped them by now?"
"It wouldn't matter. Knowing you, it's always an option no matter what."
"You know me so well. We still on for tonight? Cause Mary be missing you and that sweet ass of yours."
"Ash!"
"Her words not mine..... ok a wee bit mine."
"Yes we are still on."
"Excellent! To paperwork!" I exclaimed before heading to go it.

We watched Ash rush to her desk so she could start work and they all spoke the same thing at the same time.
"Strange girl."
"Ok how is she and pretty boy friends?" Morgan asked
