You need a better doorman.

It's been about a month since I saw Ash in hospital and I was beginning to worry.
'I guess I shouldn't worry as much. We didn't talk a lot so I should be at peace of mind that she is able to protect herself. She did kill those four unsubs.'
I let out a sigh as I finished making my way up the stairs and into my apartment.
"Yo what up Spencey!" Someone spoke making me look up to see Ash relaxing against a bookshelf near the kitchen.
"Ash?! How the hell did you get into my apartment?"
"Your door was unlocked and I was worried that something bad could've happened to you. So how ya been?"
'Ok we both know she picked a lock. But I'm not going to question it anymore.'
"Did you make yourself a bowl of cereal?" I asked as I began to put my things away before making my way into the kitchen as she followed.
"Oh yeah. I brought coco pops with me. So you gonna tell me how you've been?"
"I've been good. What are you doing here?"
"Came to say 'hey!' So hey!"
"You couldn't call?"
"You know how I feel about phones. Except I should get one for my new job."
"Your not going to be a private eye anymore?"
"Nope. I was recruited by some higher ups, said that my talent for finding people would be useful for the job they want me to do. I however have been given an extended holiday basically, cause of me being stabbed and what not. But hey it'll go with my bullet wound that I got." She told before jumping up onto my counter.
"So you're ok?"
"Top notch!"
"I guess I won't be seeing or hearing you after this then. Since you'll be going back to Pennsylvania."
"Na. Not this time Spencey."
"How come?"
"Well, theres no vampires there so that whole dream went out the window."
"The other reason?"
"Gotta move for my job. Gonna be flying back in a few days and then driving to my new home."
"You know my team wouldn't stop asking me about you."
"Oh I'm popular aren't I?! Do they find me odd?"
"They do. Also don't understand how we know one another."
"I explained it was from uni."
"I meant the reason why. With how well they know me and what they know about you, we are an odd friendship."
"Cause I'm loosey goosey and you aren't unless I'm involved."
"That is true."
"You know if Mark was here he would go 'your work mates don't know the full picture of us Baby face'. And he does have a point."
"I don't have much of a baby face anymore."
"Still a wee bit."
"So how long are you in town?"
"A day or two. Depends how I go with things here."
"Will I be seeing you again before you leave?"
"If you want. I'll even stay here for the night or what not so we can catch up. Only if that's what you want."
"I'd like that. I've missed hanging out with you Ash."
"I've missed hanging out with you as well Spencey."
I looked into my fridge to see there wasn't really anything to eat.
'Well this is great.'
"Do you care if we order food?" I asked as I looked over at her.
"Nope. We should get Chinese food cause I'm craving that, like I was really craving it when I was in hospital but you can't order take away when your in recovery. But we should get some like now cause I'm hungry."
"Your eating coco pops." I stated.
"Not anymore. I finished it like 5 minutes ago. But I'm still hungry and whatever I don't eat, I'll eat tomorrow."
"You are so weird."
"Yet you love hanging out with me." She told making me smile.
"That I do."
I grabbed my phone and began to fill the number in as I remembered what we used to always get.
'This is great.'

After a few months from our last case I hadn't seen or heard from Ash.
'I hope she is ok.'
"You good Pretty boy?"
"Yeah just curious about how Ash is doing after she got out of the hospital."
"She hasn't contacted you?" He asked making me shake my head a little before speaking.
"I mean she came and visited after she got out of the hospital. But then she went back to Pennsylvania and I haven't heard from her since.She isn't really someone who is big on phones. She prefers the old ones where you need to spin the wheel for each number. She says it's easier to not get tracked." I told
"So she doesn't have a phone at all?" Emily asked
"I don't really know, I mean she did say she had to get a new one for her job but it's never set in stone if she went through with it or not. We don't talk often."
"She seemed crazy." Jj told.
"It's all an act she pulls. She once said if you see someone crazy you tend to avoid them." I told as I remembered when we once went to the movies together.
Hotch came walking out of his office and called us to the roundtable room.
"What do you think it's about?" Morgan asked
"Hopefully not another case." Emily jokes.
"Probably is." Jj told as we all made our way there.
We all sat down and Hotch was standing at the screen.
"So I called us here because I was just informed that we are getting a new team member."
"No I can't handle change!" Penelope exclaimed.
"Strauss order. Apparently she was meant to join us a few months ago after her last case, but she got injured so they couldn't join till they were deemed fit."
"So when do we meet her?" Morgan asked
"Hopefully now." Strauss told as she entered the room.
"Where is she?" Rossi asked as we all turned to her
"Right behind me."
"There's no one there." I informed making her turn to look.
"Where did she go?!"
"Yo did you know they got cookies in the break room?!" A voice behind us spoke.
We all turned again to see Ash standing there with cookies.
"Ash?!"
"Yo what up again Spencey and agents." She told as she gave a small peace sign.
"Everyone meet your new co worker. Agent Harper."
"Just Ashley is fine. Except you Spencey you can always call me Ash. God these are good cookies."
"I'm sorry do you all know her already?" Strauss asked
"Yeah we met her on her last case." Morgan told still shocked from the whole thing
"Except Spencer. He's known her since uni." Jj told
"Oh. I didn't know."
"I mean I didn't know he worked in this group till way after I accepted the job. I just didn't say anything cause I didn't want my new team to think our introduction could have gone worse." She explained before holding a cookie out to Strauss. "Cookie Aunty?"
"Aunt?!" We all exclaimed.
"I'm not her aunt. I've just known her family for awhile."
"Yeah she hates the nickname."
"Don't call me that while you work here."
"Got it Aunty." She told before taking a bite from a cookie. "What? I don't start till next week."
"Behave." Strauss told before she began to leave.
"When have I never?"
"When you decided to shake that coke bottle and set it off in Peters face." I told making her laugh.
"Ok I forgot about that. But he deserved it he was being a massive wanker to you." She told before continuing to laugh making me join her.
"This is going to be weird." Morgan told having them all agree.
"Cookie?" She asked offering them one making me smile more then I already was.
