The friend from Uni.

Unbelievable.

"I just found out I have a new neighbour in my place." Penelope told as she brought in some cookies and I snagged a few.
As soon as I had one, I began to get excited at them.
"These are good. Guessing these are extra?"
"Yes."
"Penelope I should marry you. You make me food."
"I thought you were going to marry me cause I did that?" Spencer joked as he sat next to me.
"Bitch imma make a harem, on people who can cook." I told making him shake his head.
"You worry me."
"I always worry you."
"Well yeah."

(Spencer p.o.v)

I was working at my desk with the others minus Ash, who was talking to her aunt. Obviously it didn't go well.
"Ashley! Do not walk away from me!"
"I'm just getting my bag Erin!"
"What's happening?" Emily asked trying to avoid attention.
"She said something about Ash's mum so they've been arguing."
"Your leaving?"
"To get lunch! I'm hungry."
"You walk out of those doors, then you're fired. You know that right?"
"Then fire me!" She told before leaving.
'This is not good.'
I put my cup down and went rushing after Ash, thankfully catching her elevator so we could go down together.
"So what are we eating?" I asked making her chuckle.
"Anything."
"Was this argument worse then last time?"
"Yeah."
"Wanna talk about it?"
"She means well.... I know she does and I know she cares for me...... but sometimes it feels like she try's to use my mother and try and make me be her. But I'm not like my mother." She told and I could tell it looked like she was going to break down. "I mean. If she wants me to be so much like my mother maybe I should just disappear like she did."
"Don't think that."
"I try not to. It's just difficult sometimes. They were friends and then one day I meet her and she also didn't know what happened to my mum..... no one does. No one ever knows."
"It's a good think I'm here then." I told making her give me a confused look. "No matter what, I'm here for you."
"Thanks Spencey."
"Your my friend, I care for you. What's that thing Mike always used to say?"
"We are friends, and friends are the family we didn't know we needed. Unless the friends a cunt, and you don't want that family."
"Exactly." I told making her wrap her arms around mine.
"I'm glad I helped you."
"And I'm glad I helped you."
