The friend from Uni.

Oh dead.

(Originally it was meant to be 'Oh dear' but I accidentally wrote 'Oh dead' so I decided to leave it for my own amusement.)

It had been a few days of what not since Jack had visited and the team would not let up about how good I was with taking care of Jack.
"Did you baby sit at some point?" Jj asked as we all hung around the desks minus Aaron.
"Yeah kinda. I wasn't payed for it I just helped take care of little ones when it was needed."
"Makes sense why your able to entertain kids." Emily states
"Unless you have a secret family we don't know about." Derek told
"I assure I don't have a significant other or kids. Spencer would have told you all by now since he would obviously be Unkie Spence." I told making us smile.
"I'm an uncle?!" He joked making us both laugh.
"To four amazing not real children."
"They grow up so fast. It's like they didn't exist this morning."
"Jenny doesn't want to go to Caltech, she wants to go to community college."
"She doesn't want to go to Caltech?"
"No. She says it's for nerds."
"She's disowned." He joked
"I mean I blame the uncle next to me."
"How dare you."
"How dare I? How dare you."
"This is strange." David told making me and Spencer laugh some more.
"So you actually have siblings that are twins?" Penelope asked
"Yeah. Why do you think Spencer is great with kids? He would come with us to the zoo or something we decided."
"They would climb on me for fun."
"Oh that was adorable. My siblings love Spencer.... except one."
"You have another sibling?" Jj asked
"Yeah. Somewhat, Spencer knows not to talk about it. Especially after he snitched the first time."
"I told you I was sorry."
"Your lucky I like you better then the prick of a sibling I call my brother." I stated.
"They don't get along."
"I mean, we get along but we also don't."
"He still hasn't answered your texts or calls has he."
"No he responded with this." I told as I pulled my phone out and read the text. "Hey Ash Ash, congrats on the new job. Hope all is well with the new book series, sorry my phone was dead. Also could you get chicken on the way home I want to throw it at a canvas and see what happens. Thanks, love you. Bye."
"At least if you start a book series then he hopes it goes well."
"I haven't lived with him since I left for my old joint up in Pennsylvania. The dumb ass meant to send it to the other two."
"They still live together?"
"Yeah. So many dogs."
"Ash loves dogs."
"I love dogs but I don't think I'll own one anytime soon."
"How come baby?"
"I don't know how Oak would react."
"How is she?"
"Oh she's going great."
Soon Aaron came out of his office and signalled that we had a new case.
"Yay work!" I exclaimed making them give me a confused look. "Ok I like working. I don't the killing."
We all got up and went into our seats with Spencer being on my right side. Penelope took over to tell us what was happening for the case on the tv.
"Ok so you all will be heading to Seattle for this case. About four people have been murdered.The terrible news apart of this is.... they were all children, and they show signs of abuse." Penelope told as she clicked the remote to show the pictures, except I spun my chair around so I didn't have to look and I shut my eyes to wait till it disappeared.
"You ok Ashley?" Jj asked
"Just tell me when it's off the screen." I told keeping my eyes shut.
I didn't open them till Spencer took one of my hands in his, making me open them to look towards him. I gave him a small nod to indicate I was ok which allowed him to look back at the tv.
'This is going to be a terrible case to work on.'
