Adley's POV
I'm in a graveyard and I'm near my stone. It's this nightmare again, I get it every night, why? There's fog, I smell smoke and I see magic everywhere. I hear someone screaming my name, two people and it's my parents, as always. All of a sudden someone is pushing me into my grave and it feels like a demon's touch. I felt fire as soon as I got pushed in. My back burns and I can barely move, I can't breathe either. I fall in and than my parents scream in pain, like they're dying inside. All of a sudden I wake up and see my dad and he's holding my hand.

"Honey you ok?" Dad asks me, worried and I take a deep breath.

"Yeah, it's just the same nightmare I keep on having." I remind him and my breath slowly comes back to normal. Slow and steady

"You mean the one in the graveyard and your mom and I?" Dad checks and I nod my head yes. "Maybe the dream is a sign. Don't go into graveyards" Dad jokes and I look at him.

"Dad, seriously, it feels too real. It's one of those weird Shadowhunters dreams." I inform him and now he looks at me worried. His protective look for me just shot on him.

"Don't worry, you're mom and I will do everything we can to protect you. Adley are you sure you're ok? You have that look on your face." Dad asks me

"I think I might need to have some more training. I still don't always feel so confident." I suggest to dad, some days I don't feel strong either.

"I totally understand, your mom does too. We'll do some more training at the institute tomorrow ok. Everything's going to be alright, you're safe Adley. I'll never let anything happen to you. Neither will your mom" Dad assures me and I hold onto him tight and he does the same. When I rest my head on his shoulder he rubs my back.

"You should probably draw a rune for this one. Fighting a nightmare is a real task. Don't draw it just yet though. Wait until you fully conquer it and I know you will. You will in no time. I have so much faith in you, that you can do this." Dad encourages me and I smile.

"Thank you dad, I don't know what I'd do without you and mom." I tell him and smile at him. He kisses my forehead gently and smiles.

"We don't know what we'd do without you either Adley. You've added another amazing story in our life. We never want it to end." Dad tells me and I get closer to him and he rubs my arm.

"I love you" Dad says to me "I love you too dad" I say back and I try and fall back asleep next to him.

Jace's POV
I hate seeing my daughter afraid. I really hope we can figure out what she's having a nightmare about. It must be a sign for her or a warning, it's very descriptive. Adley starts to shake a little in her sleep so I put another blanket over her and she relaxes a bit more.

"Aren't you two adorable" I hear my beautiful wife Clary tell me and I look up and she's at the door. "How is she?" Clary asks me

"She had the same nightmare again. I told her we'll get her to the institute to help clear her head and maybe it will help her grow strength." I inform Clary and she smiles.

"That will hopefully do the trick. I'll just let her sleep. You staying with her?" Clary asks me

"I am, I can't leave her alone now." I tell her while looking at Adley. Clary comes up to me quietly and I kiss her sweet lips and she kisses me back. When Clary leaves the room I hold Adley closer to me and she gets closer. I love my daughter so much I would die for her protection, same with Clary. I'd do anything for my family, anything. I hope we can help Adley through this darkness. I know she can do it. She is a Shadowhunter after all.

What do you think Adley's dream means? Is it a sign or just a dream? Will Clary and Jace be able to protect her enough or...?
