Adley's POV
I'm just in my room right now trying to think of what to really say to Josh first and I just need time for this to sink in. While thinking uncle Simon, he's married to aunt Isabelle and they have two kids, Scarlett Lewis who is 6 and Abner who is 4. Uncle Simon comes in and looks at me with a worried, awkward smile.
"Hey, I heard what happened." Uncle Simon tells me while coming up to me to give me a hug. "What are you going to do?" He asks me and I sigh.
"Don't know, any advice vampire?" I ask him and he smirks.
"Just be patient with your decision. Don't push it basically, it's a lot of pressure. Remember when you're parents asked you if you really wanted this life when you were 8?" Uncle Simon asks me
"Yeah, I could barely sleep because of the question of do you want to be a shadowhunter forever. I knew this was for me as I suggested to practice it first before answering it. Maybe that's what he should do? I just don't want have to, kill him though." I tell uncle Simon and I start shaking because I'm really scared right now. Uncle Simon puts his arm around me and holds me tight and I put my head on his shoulder. "I'm scared for him" I say shakily because I'm crying.
"We're all here for him and you. You guys won't go through this alone." He reminds me and I put my head closer to him while he rubs my shoulder to relax my breathing.
What do I do? I don't want to let my best friend die. Someone help me
What will they do? Let Josh die or let him turn? ❤️
