Clary's POV
As I'm laying in bed with Jace while he has his arm wrapped around me with his shirt off and he's also in grey sweatpants and I'm just in a grey pyjama shirt and black shorts. I see Jace looking at the picture of Adley we took of her when she was four. He just smiles at it which makes me smile."Ah the good old days before she was into boys and all that." Jace says and I roll my eyes. "Just saying"
"Jace just give Caspian a chance ok. He's not that bad once you get to know him. He's really good to our daughter." I assure him and he just ignores what I said and starts kissing me and I kiss him back. Jace stops and looks at me with a smile.
"What if we just interrogate him, just a bit?" Jace asks me
"No Jace, it might hurt Adley if we don't trust him. She trusts him, so we should trust him too, right?" I ask him and he sighs.
"Alright fine, we'll play along than with his games." I just roll my eyes and continue kissing my amazing husband.
I love how protective he is of our daughter but sometimes he can be too protective. Jace and Adley have a very special
father/daughter relationship and that coexists with how protective he is of her. I am too but I know she can handle this. Adley's smart and strong, she'll be fine.Seems like Jace really despises Caspian. I mean what father really likes their daughter going out with a former bad guy right? ❤️
