Adley's POV
While I'm in my room, on my bed drawing in my art book there's a knock on my door that's open, I look up and it's mom.

"Hey, come in" I let her in and she comes in and sits in front of me on my bed and smiles.

"I always love seeing you draw." Mom tells me and I smile. "You're the one who taught me well." I compliment her and we both smile together.

"How's Josh doing?" Mom asks me "He's scared out of his mind." I tell her while putting my book down.

"Mom, how do I help him through this when I don't fully understand how Josh is feeling because I don't go through it?" I ask her and she sighs and puts her hand on my leg.

"You just be there for him on his dark times during his journey. You hold onto him and help his mind escape from the world. It's like when you draw you can make your mind flow into different directions more than you thought you can. That's how you help Josh, you think of different solutions, not just one." Mom advises me and it makes a lot of sense.

"That's actually really helpful, thank you mom." I thank her "You're welcome sweetie, hey wanna draw together?" Mom asks me

"Yes I do" I answer and she grabs her art book and supplies and we sit beside each other and just draw together.

I'm drawing myself surrounded by all different kind of flowers. My red hair has the white flowers falling down on it. I even decided to put green flowers for my eyes since that's my eye colour. My lips are flowers as pink flowers. I don't know why that's in my head right now but it is.

"You know, I remember when you were 5 and you were starting to draw. You asked me if you were ever going to be as good as me. I told you all artists are unique in their own ways. You have definitely shown how unique you are as you've grown up. I could not be more proud to call you my daughter because of that. You're special" Mom reminisces and I smile big at her and while looking at her she puts her hand on my cheek.

"Well I'm also like you and dad. Which I love being like you two, so much. It makes me prouder of who I am. Thank you" I say to her honestly.

"You're welcome and I'm so happy that you are proud of who you are because you should be. Always" Mom apprises me and we smile at each other and continue drawing together. I am such a lucky girl.

"My two loves" We hear dad say and we look up and there he is leaning against the door frame. We just smile at him and continue drawing because once mom and I start we can't stop. Dad clearly just stays there though. Moments like these are ones I hope never go away.
