Adley's POV
I feel almost like myself right now. I couldn't thank uncle Magnus enough for saving me. Now I just need to make things right with everyone and that is starting with my boyfriend, Caspian.
We're sitting outside the room where the whole family is and I start by holding his hands tight.
"Caspian, I am so so sorry for everything I did and said to you. You didn't deserve that and I should've fought harder against the demon and I tried it was just really strong. Every time it would say something horrible to you I tried to hold my tongue back but it wouldn't let me. I kept on screaming at it stop talking, don't hurt him. It kept pushing and pushing." I start off with but he stops me.
"Ad's, you don't have to apologize because it wasn't you. You're already forgiven" Caspian tells me and I look down.
"No Cas, I do because it was still me, well my body really. I should've fought it much harder than I tried to. When I was hearing all the things it was saying to you it was killing me inside because I would never dream of saying those things to you. If I did I might pass out. Caspian, you have been a rock to me. You make me laugh, you help me get through rough days. You've saved my life a few times. You have the kindest heart anyone could ever have. Plus you are one of the best things that ever have happened to me. I love you and I'm so sorry, for everything." I apologize to him and he hugs me tight and I hug him back and rest my head on his shoulder.
"It's ok Adley, I forgive you. You have a much kinder heart than me. Even though I was on the wrong side when we met you knew I was in danger and was worth saving and fighting for. When your dad hated me you fought for me and stood up for me. You see the good in people and that is one of the many things I love about you. Plus you're cute giggle. I love you Adley" Caspian forgives me and I smile at him big time.
"I love you too" I say back and he kisses me and I kiss him back. Than dad comes out here worried.
"We have a problem, the demon that possessed Adley is still around." Dad informs us and we run in. I thought we killed that monster.
Sorry for the cliffhanger but I gotta end this book sometime right? How is the demon back and what does it want now? ❤️
