The full moon swoons
The crickets croon
The earth is as light
As a blue balloon
The sun sleeps tight
The starry nightlights
Tuck us into bed
Say it'll be alright
The cicadas whir
The summer wind stirs
Through the evergreens,
The spruces and firs
Green turns to gray
The day is away
Birds rest in their nests
Blankets cling and stay
The sky sweetly sighs
We all close our eyes
And listen to nature's
Lullabies.
